  1. Riddick. He killed a guy with a tea cup and would have done the same with one of those old school keys, but the dudes ran away.
  2. I love the long game personally. I see why others want it shorter but I love being at the ballpark for hours, or sitting on my couch or porch for hours just relaxing with food and drinks. Maybe that will change, but for right now I enjoy the length.
  3. Ortiz had an interesting comment today. He mentioned that stepping out of the box isnt about wasting time, but trying to prepare for the next pitch. He said he uses that time to think about what pitch the pitcher throw. To me that does make some sense and certainly makes me want to look at this rule closer.
  4. Sources saying hes going to SD.
  5. I have seen the Brewers do this before. I disagree with you and I am on board with the group that wants hitters to learn to be more of a complete hitter. For example, Ortiz is a huge dude that runs poorly...so yes, I would like to take away any advantage he has.
  6. As long as the pitch clock is off when runners are on base I am okay with it. That being said...shorten the breaks between half innings(I know its all about the $), and make batters stay in the box.
  7. Dislike how much Tim Raines gets no love. I enjoyed watching him even late in his career.
  8. Lester to sign with Cubs. They are going to be fun to watch if you're a Cubs fan.
  9. And bunting with two strikes no less.
  10. .222 average and a .200 OBP.... How is that possible? In case you're serious...a sac fly doesn't hurt the batting average but does hurt the obp
  11. What's the point of replay if they still get 50% of them wrong?
  12. Wow, a split would be nice...so would a strike zone that's equal for both teams...
  13. No kidding. It does seem like he misses out on a lot of close pitches. First pitch could have gone either way IMO.
  14. Strike three to Braun was just brutal. Looked about three inches off the plate.
  15. I dont like doing the pay for the person behind you thing. I have however done similar things. One year while tailgating I overheard a kid ask his dad for nachos and a hotdog. I began talking with the dad about the Brewers and told him I'd like to buy his son nachos and gave the dad 10$. I've also given our first level seats to a mother and son who were in the nosebleeds. I just stood for the game which is what I prefer most often anyways. I would never do something like that and expect everyone behind me to do the same, but in hopes that they would reach out in another way for someone else.
  16. First pitch looked like it could have been called a strike. Similar pitches were called on Braun earlier in the game...but yea. Sucks.
  17. I am surprised that didnt get challenged. Never know what would be called.
  18. I'd prefer our best hitters put a swing on it rather then a bunt. That's just me though.
