    To me - the entire arm grab thing was Gard trying to explain himself. Anyone who thinks it was trying to detain him or that he escalated it seems to be off base. Now, I wasn't there to hear it, but it surely is not hard to infer this.

    Started watching this based on your recommendation. I laugh and watch the intro every time which is pretty rare. I'm having a hard time not seeing Vigilante as Napoleon Dynamite as a Superhero. Yea, I need to finish it now that it's all done.

    I remember playing at the Petit growing up in the 90s. I am sure I crossed paths with someone, however, I have no idea and had no idea who it was. I vividly recall walking up steps and through like concession areas to get to the rinks. At least I am pretty sure there were 2 rinks there as I recall hearing whistles all the time.

    Were they though? Granted - the US didn't get a lot of great looks, but they had a bouncing puck hit off the bar in the first and all 3 goals from Canada were kinda soft.

    It would be kind of fun to have 8 teams and you play each team once with the top 4 advancing to the semis or 1 play 2 and 3 play 4 or something. I realize it's a lot of games, but the one and done in hockey is tricky, BUT everyone has it. That 17 year old from Slovakia has a nice shot and some silky mitts.

    Tough one for USA hockey last night. Slovakia ties it with less than a minute when the puck hits the skate of the guy on the doorstep and hes able to tap it in falling over. Not capitalizing on a 5 on 3 in the 3rd and then another man advantage with 4 minutes left stung. Going ng 0 for 5 in a shootout is no good either.

    Ohhhh - I forgot about this. I was just talking with my buddy about him on Wednesday. We were singing 2 out of 3 aint bad after darts. Without looking, was he the one that sang a song about objects in the rearview mirror? I used to always sing that when I first got my license.

    Without getting political, I do wonder how many people have/had it and don't even realize because they are asymptomatic, vaxxed, or new variants are less impactful. What a wild time to be alive...

    At this point - they should be. Do I think they are a top 8 team in the country? Not really, but they have the quality wins and one of their losses was without one of the top 5/10ish players in the country. Is anyone concerned about this teams defense? Some days I watch and I just think they give up a few too many easy baskets, but admittedly, I know little about the x's and o's of basketball.

    I have 4 out of 22 that are out the next 2 weeks due to testing positive. The week before winter break I had 7 kids out. 1 tested positive, so I am assuming the others had it but didnt get tested. My kids, both under 3 years old, got sick right around that time, so maybe they got it again or maybe it was just a cold. I have to teach art today(no prep for me...boo) because the art teacher is home with their kiddo who tested positive. The librarian just tested positive - she was at school yesterday. It is a never ending thing and I am just not sure how I feel about it all. I had it in August and felt pretty crummy. I got vaxxed about 3 months later and am fully vaxxed now, so I kinda wonder if I was the one transferring it to everyone but have no major symptoms.

    Insurance is such a scam, but you have to have it. Car, life, health, etc.
