As a Packers fan, I'd have been much happier with their draft had they taken Mac Jones instead of adding picks and still getting a potential franchise LT(finally). I thought most teams had a solid draft. Minus the Fightin Grudens and the Panthers.

That last pitch to Muncy didn’t seem to miss by much, if at all. Ball 3 was fully in the zone.

Caufield debut tonight.

It does feel like the offense is different this year than in years past - in that aspect. Seemed like they could never get a hit with RISP.

Also, Nodak - if you are interested in getting your son into tennis send me a PM. You would be better off taking him yourself as opposed to paying for lessons(at this age). I could give you a few ideas. I've been giving private lessons for over 10 years and have been coaching at the high school level for slightly longer.

He’ll choose his own path. I won’t push anything beyond local rec leagues (do those still exist?) so he can get exercise and socialize. Like most things, kids like what they see and have around. I always have hockey and tennis on at home. No surprise, my daughter grabs one of her 3 hockey sticks and whacks a ball or grabs the hopper of tennis balls and throws them around and pokes at them with her tennis racquet. Now with baseball on a bunch she has been setting up the whiffle ball tee and tries smacking the back with her bat(or stick). She just turned 2, so obviously there is nothing more than having those things around. I'm hopeful my kids want to play sports and I'm going to give them every opportunity it to find something. I learned so much from sports that I hope they both do as well.

As I was watching the first set, I said to my wife, 'This looks exactly like last year.' I do not know a lot about volleyball, but it seemed like they could never get past the blockers. I am sure there is more to it than that, but it looked similar to last year.

Was in the parking lot at Kwik Trip once in the driver seat and some random dude opened and sat in the passenger seat. Was quite the confused look from both of us. ha

For those of us who cannot watch... please elaborate. On the pitch that really was a strike but was called ball 3, the catcher threw to third and before it went anywhere it bounced off Narvy's bat and rolled around, giving Shaw 2nd. Threw to the pitcher* and rolled to 3rd.

Caratini threw it off Narvs bat. Shaw ran to 2. Shoulda struck out, but then hammered a hanging curve.

Me and one of my buddies used to call him Dick Weeks. Giggled everytime.

I mean it was a really bad read. That's what happened, it's not overblowing it. No one said it doesn't happen to the best of them. Unless you can see with JBJ's eyes I'm not sure you can definitively state it was a bad read. I think when watching it in real time he took a step in the bucket and that slowed him a step or two.
