  1. Next 2 games before break have been postponed...wild how Wisconsin can not get a handle on this.
  2. Clock stopped early at the end...so that is kinda a bummer. I should edit: appears to end early based on the tv clock. Which may not have been accurate. Edit 2: found another picture where the tv time was in fact fast by 1 second.
  3. Saw something that they went with 'Milwaukee means where the waters collide' or something like that. Is that what Milwaukee means? If so, I had no idea.
  4. It's because Baltimore had an outbreak, whereas Denver had 1 guy and 3 others who were non-compliant with the masking. Basically the same thing happened to San Francisco a few weeks ago before they played GB. The only difference is that it wasn't 4 QBs, so no one said a word. The league did say that they would change games for an outbreak and not for individual players.
  5. "Gotta have better effort on defense..” That's been a broken record for going on five years now. Thats fair, but outside of a period plus against Michigan I would say d-zone play has been really strong this year. However, I did not see either game this weekend. TPB, Ahcan, and Baker are experienced players that I'm sure hurt not having this weekend/for the next few weeks.
  6. Missed the game tonight, but see they were missing 4 guys...that bites. Gotta have better effort on defense.
  7. This is hilarious and so true. My 19 month old likes to watch and listen to the kids songs on Netflix... the other day there was some show on and she threw me the remote when a commercial came on and was saying, 'oh no, oh no'. I think she watches too much at grandmas during the week. Ha.
  8. At one point in game 1 it was 44-9. And the Badgers were up like 3-1. PSUs goalies were pretty bad this weekend. My buddy joked that he was going to grab his gear and wait outside their bus - he has 4 years of eligibility left. The Badgers got the bounces this week and found some open ice - but they looked flat on Monday and were lucky to win. Last night I thought they dominated(obviously) outside of a 5 minute stretch in the 3rd where a few guys were coasting up 6-1. And yes, PSU has given the Badgers trouble since like year 2 in the league. So frustrating. I really wish they could have salvaged a tie against Michigan in game 2(Weissbach turning into a pylon after a 2 plus minute shift in 3v3 was frustrating). 4-1-1 looks much nicer than 4-2.
  9. Good point OSS. I do think there should be more rewards for people who are healthy or try to take healthy steps in their lives. Our district 'tries' to do these things, but often times it isn't worth the trouble of the paperwork. Make it worthwhile and more people will do it. As it stands now only the people that are already doing it are getting the extra credit.
  10. Maybe, but they needed a score. Now, if you want to argue the d had a better chance to score...
  11. It is interesting, I have had quite a few friends get it, but no family(that I know of). The worst symptoms my friends have had was the loss of taste and smell. One of my friends actually debated about going to hockey while still in quarantine because he had tested positive but had such minor symptoms- had to scold him for that.
  12. This is my feelings as well. I will say though, without getting too off topic, I personally am okay with leadership trying to be proactive instead of reactive. We can talk all day about whether it was effective or not, but I would say Evers made the decisions he thought were best to keep people safe before things got out of control.
  13. I think you could maybe change that to Americans. Americans are pretty selfish. Myself included. I fall into the 'pretty good about stuff' group, but I have also done/gone to some dumb places during all of this. Europe is exploding and people are protesting lockdowns. All the Asian countries that had beat it back in spring had cases go right back up as soon as they opened up. This is not simply an "American" problem. I have friends living in both Europe and Asia and both have said it is nothing like in the states. Also, I am not referring to the outbreak itself, but the attitude of many Americans throughout. I am not sure how anyone can look at the way 50ish percent of the American population is behaving and think - nope, these people aren't selfish. Or are we thinking other countries populations are as selfish as ours? I just dont see it.
  14. Yes but he needs to hit the weight room which hopefully will be the case. Nakia Watson could not be more disappointing to me this season. Watson looks like he runs upright too much, but thats just my observation. On Berger, I wont claim to know his BMI by looking at him.

  16. FSN is literally the only reason I still have Charter...and I hate it, but I refuse to not be able to watch the Brewers/Badgers/Bucks because it isn't on one of the streaming services. If they come out with their own service I would definitely move in that direction.
  17. And he goes for it on 4th down in some unusually aggressive spots and not the obvious ones. I think there was one time against NW that he went for it on 4th and 1 on UW's own 45 or something like that. Then didn't go for it on 4th down on the opponents 36. Yes! I was shocked when they didn't go for it on 4th and 3 or whatever it was from the 36. Even a good punt is only going to net 25ish yards. That can be made up in 1 above average play.
  18. It is interesting too because I feel like we have seen them go for it on 4th and 1 or 2 more often, but once its 4th and 3 that seems like a no go for certain.
  19. True, but for one year I think Morton will be solid again. Would have been okay with the Brewers doing that.
  20. Weird game tonight. Beydoun has been steady...which is something Wisco has missed the last few years.
  21. Another positive from the game was Jalen Berger. Hard not to be excited about him.
  22. Well, ownership and GMs need that instant gratification for $$, so I'd guess we wont be seeing that change with quarterbacks for awhile, if ever.
  23. Also, I know there was no way to tell, but that puck probably crossed the line with a minute left in the 3rd or so.
  24. Frustrating game for sure. I think Michigan is one of the top 4 or 5 teams in the country, so the 3v3 loss is hardly anything to hang the hat on. The lack of chances tonight is concerning. Game 1 had 3 defensive zone breakdowns that led to 3 goals. D zone coverage has looked much better than last year in 3 of the 4 games. That is a really good Michigan team and a really strong goalie in Mann. Also have to remember they were missing Holloway for the weekend and out Pelton Byce tonight. Both guys would have seen the ice in 3v3.
  25. I think CWH was making a joke. Basically Adam Lind for Matt Olson...win?
