  1. Someone said he does this every off season.
  2. Vogelbach with a nice swing...Braun with a double play on the first pitch. Bummer.
  3. This is so accurate. What do you think their record would be if both werent just average this year? Have to imagine that's at least 2 or 3 wins.
  4. Cutter moves the same direction as a slider. It just harder and with less vertical movement. Ok....that is what I originally thought but all the stuff I’ve been reading lately got me confused. 2 seamer and sinker are similar then? Both move down and away to a lefty when thrown by a righty? Correct. Though I believe a sinker has more vertical drop than a 2 seamer.
  5. Two of my friends were working out together, both similar in size. One ran on a treadmill while the other made it incline and walked. The one that walked burned more calories than the one who ran. And it was easier on the joints.
  6. I'm thinking hes saying a small sample can have a huge variance. Which most everyone realizes.
  7. I mean...the steal there on 1-0...Gyrko miss a hit and run sign?

  9. I am bummed we let go of Holt, but Peterson through a similar number of at-bats has a similar OBP with less slugging. Just too few at bats to draw a conclusion.

  11. Hiura has an identical OPS+ to Yelich. Valid, but this doesnt make it any less disappointing. I thought he would make another jump, whereas I thought Yelich might regress 'some'.

  13. Yelich is having a tough year, no doubt. But I'm most disappointed with Hiura.
  14. Figured it would be a tough play going across his body. Obviously happy it took a hop to make it a really tough play.
  15. I seriously wonder if the knee injury hasnt set him back. I've seen videos comparing his swings from last year to this year and it is different. Mlre straight up, less hand wiggle, and doesn't get as deep in his bend when loading to hit.
  16. He’ll have reached Russell Branyan-level legend status by this time next week. One can only hope.
  17. I did the fasting while working out and lost a lot of weight...pretty quickly too. The issue I ran into was when I fell into old habits the weight came back quickly. Almost need to do the fasting and then find that happy medium. Beer with the boys was my kryptonite...led to late snacks and meals.
  18. Our school has been great in this aspect as well. All the grades line up outside and enter at different doors. Hallways are used at different times(mostly) and parts of the building are used differently. PE is all outside with art and music come to the classroom and going outside when possible. The hardest part for the kiddos is recess. It is only with their class and they only get part of the playground area. Masks have been fine and the biggest offenders are when the masks are too big and fall below the nose and they kind of forget that it happened. I think parents are slightly annoyed with the drop off/pick up as we dont allow kids at school until right before the morning bell and drop off they need to wait at their number if their parents are picking them up. Overall it has been good though, and you are correct...it won't be their fault if something does happen.
  19. Day 2 of in person school was challenging for me, but the students have been doing fine. Our building has no ac, so inwas sweating it up. Probably need to shave... The hardest part I've notice is teaching reading skills like phonics. The kids are having a hard time hearing the correct aounds and cant see my mouth moving while forming sounds and blendz.
