  1. Plus 1 to the McDs bagel sandwiches. I too am disappointed they dropped them. I eat KT quite a bit because it's the closest spot to where I work. Basically everything said here is spot on. They used to have these veggies with Jimmy dip...if you see them at your KT you should give em a shot. The dip is quite good.
  2. Buddy said Boston banked a 3 in late? That's fun. Just watched the shot. Yikes.
  3. I read somewhere that Kwik Trip sells more food than any fast food restaurant. I prefer some of their food as well compared to other places.
  4. I think part of what makes Basketball great is that you feel like your school has a chance...until you lose your last game. In football, once you've got a loss(and aren't Bama or Clemson) your team has no shot. I would like to see a system that gives you a shot. I think this year with teams playing less games would have been a great year to make an 8 team playoff. I said this in another thread, but let Cinci or whoever get a shot at Bama. If Bama whoops em we can all say, 'see, these teams don't deserve it.'
  5. This is the main reason that I have put up with Charter all of these years. I hate them and think they suck, but they haven't lost FSN and the few channels I do not stream. I can still watch the Bucks, Brewers, Badgers, Wild, etc. Until a different option exists that I know will stick it out I am not moving.
  6. Why does ND deserve to get in? Their big win was against a depleted Clemson. Other than that they have a win against 25 UNC. Oh yea, also a 5 point win against Louisville at home. The biggest thing is that they played a complete schedule, so I guess I could get behind that.
  7. I wont go that far, but I'm still shocked wisconsin was favored by double digits.
  8. Pretty.clear hold on that punt on the gunner too. Terrible so far.
  9. Better yet, this would have been a good year to increase the amount of teams. Let Cincinnati play Alabama and see if it's a blowout. If so, no big deal. If not, they could possible use that as a reason to expand the playoffs. The big knock against expanding it is that teams 5-8 are usually not nearly as good as 1-4 and would be blowouts anyway. Well, lets see. In a weird year with everything I think this would have been a great year to do that.
  10. My teams were both drafted okay, but I had to deal with injuries and such, so I lost 6 in a row in one league to miss out on the playoffs.
  11. How are the Badgers favored by 12? They have barely scored 12 points in the last 3 weeks.
  12. Maybe I'm not following you correctly(2 kids and 1 under two months so I'm sleeeeepy), but youd have 4 byes and then 4 teams playing wild card against each other? That would send two teams on and leave them with 6. Or do you mean the next 8 non division winners play to make 4 teams moving on? Edit: I got it figured out now. Yes. I do like that as well. I do think the time to change up divisions is here.
  13. I will be disappointed if they add more teams. 5 seems like a good number. They play 162 games and they should be used to weed out over half of the teams. I realize this probably hurts teams like Milwaukee(or maybe it doesn't cuz they could get hot for a 3 game series), but I much prefer knowing the 162 matters much more.
  14. "but lets call it like it is instead of running the guy through the magic Brewer fan filter where he's suddenly a key prospect in the organization." I'd say the majority(all?) of people don't think this, yet you keep bringing it up.
  15. Just keep doing it. If they ask you about it or get you something you could always tell a white lie. Oh, she must have been mistaken, or we saw someone else do it once and we thought it was pretty neat and did it once also. Something along those lines. I think that's a great thing you are doing. You could also say you do it for many families in the community that you appreciate so they don't feel like it's out of pity or whatever.
  16. Some dude(high heat?) is saying a league source(probably fake) is saying the Bucks are trying to get a 3rd team involved and are pushing for the Beard. He has 5k followers on the twitters, but doesn't have his name behind it. I don't see it working, but it may be more of them showing Giannis they are willing to do anything to improve the team.
  17. Looks like it after last night! Depends how your league does it as well. Our league allows keepers from the round they were drafted in, so if you have him snagged late it would probably work well. I had 2 strong years of Mojo Drew because of that.
  18. I have been watching the video of Giannis firing the ball at Harden...and I continue to laugh really hard at it. Thats all. Nothing to add.
  19. Yep. I agree on all counts. The guy even mentioned that too. He said everyone is happy with the pairwise, but they didn't think it would be fair since many schools are only playing their conference/a limited schedule. Also why the Big10 went to a 3 on 3 overtime this year I think. Otherwise it's possible they would be 5-4-1. Not that that makes a huge difference, but a tie to a strong Michigan team may hold more water than a loss.
  20. It might be the only guy we sign all off season.
  21. They aren't using pairwise this year. They are using a committee, and one of the members said Wisconsin right now is the poster child of what to do. Do they look at how they've played full strength, or do they look at the overall resume.
  22. Your point is 100% factually correct and noteworthy. But it's impossible not to also look at his stats and observe that this includes a fluky-looking outlier season at age 32 that accounted for 30% of his CAREER bWAR. True, but you could also say he had a 1ish year run where he performed worse than his career numbers. I was shocked to see just how consistent Lynn has been over the years. I remember when he was with the Cardinals how 'average' he seemed, but he has consistently been a mid 3s starter for a lot of his career.
  23. Yea, I read something about Rodgers not being done, so they aren't going to worry about him.
  24. I think Berger is going to be really strong.
