  1. Not to bring back this debate.....but Xavier as a #6 seed? Talk about teams that are a lot better than their seed...... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. I agree with you 100%!
  3. Gus Johnson is nuts! What a call for that three! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif If Utah was not awake before, they sure as heck are awake now!
  4. John Wall is very good, but I wouldnt call him the best player in the NCAA. He has a ton of tallent around him, which makes him look better, and still, turns the ball over a ton. His three point shooting is not very good at all. Dont get me wrong.....as a badger or a warrior, he would have been awesome.... I would argue that most point guards would look good with Bledsoe, Cousins, and Patterson to pass to all the time. Anyone care to comment? And since I feel like being a hater tonight.....will someone tell Crawford from Xavier that #1 he didnt dunk on LeBron, but actually, next to LeBron, and #2 he plays at freakin Xavier so why is he trying to act like Jordan on the floor? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I mean come on, you play for Xavier.....and you transfered from freakin Indiana..... Second edit of the night......he hits two long bombs and celebrates even more, to Gus Johnson's delight......it only makes me dislike Jordan Crawford more! Ok I am done hating for a night....
  5. A thought.....dont cheer for your alma matter on here......we have a loosing trend going right now. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. West Virginia is really good though........ Gus Johnson is pretty awesome ..... do a google search for the Gus Johnson soundboard, it is pretty classic
  7. In the first game of the girls WIAA Div. I tourney, Racine Case is giving three-time defending champ Vincent all they can handle. Game going down to the wire. Very entertaining!
  8. Replacing Lazar Hayward will be very difficult. He is a great player
  9. I work in the same district as Needmorefans and my teaching position was surplused last year. With all of the budget cuts, it really hurts my chances of getting my job back....that sucks
  10. JP Tokoto has offers from Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, UW, and Marquette. He is the only play Coach K has given a scholarship offer to since he was named the head coach at Duke roughly 30 years ago.... (He never offered Butch, even though he had him visit, and stayed away from Sam Okey) ..... That kid is special. He is very special. I would be very surprised if he stays in state.
  11. I agree with your arguements MJL, but with that view basketball in Wisconsin (all teams) really is not good then...... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. So this thread has fallen into a "we no longer love Bo Ryan" discussion...... thats sad. Just remember, it could and has been worse! UW and Marquette both had nice seasons, ones that beat the expectations of most, and both look pretty good going into the near future. The state journal today talks about how perhaps this loss will allow Bo to open up a bit, not be so stubborn with his Swing O and Man-to-man D. Bo Ryan critics have said for years how he refuses to change things up, no matter how bad the game is going. This was evident on Sunday when their D was being torched. This one hurt the ego, I am sure. Small adjustments (and one or two better recruits over the next few years) can make a huge difference! But I still argue that if Cornell shoots like they did Sunday, that they would beat anyone. Thats what makes the NCAA tournament the best of all sports. I think this year's tourney has been great so far, and I hope that the upsets keep coming!
  13. I enjoyed episode two. Anyone else?
  14. I lied before.......3 big ten teams in the sweet 16. Not bad at all.........now will they all fall in the next round? That could happen......this whole show is wide open this year!
  15. Anyone else notice that Steve Collins couldnt seem to coach from behind? He looked like a deer in headlights...... Thats the first time I have seen Memorial get a taste of their own medicine (a huge game changing run) in a long time!
  16. Add Tim J to that list, as well as the two 7 foot stiffs who never play on the bench.
  17. Good point, however, getting to the sweet 16 is better than not getting into the sweet 16. We definately expect a lot out of UW, thats for sure
  18. Leuer stays, Taylor running the show - They have some pretty good recruits coming in......I think this makes the team a little better. But Leuer needs to stay for that to be relevant. TLB - Nankivil could get better, right? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Big Ten gets two into the Sweet Sixteen. Not bad. Korey Lucious from Michigan State (who hit the game winner) is from Milwaukee.
  19. We cant take away the fact that Cornell is hitting almost everything they throw at the rim. Its their day. The Badgers had a hell of a season and should be proud..... They will rebuild and be just as strong (if not better) next year.
  20. St. Clouds best player got hurt very bad against Wisconsin Friday........just a note
  21. Its going to take a major upset for Madison Memorial to lose the D-1 boys title. They are loaded
  22. The last few posts have been very good and I want you all to pat yourselves on the back. No reason to argue.......March Madness........ I feel bad for MU, because they fought with everything they had in a pretty hostile environment. If UW can play that hard tomorrow, they will win because of a better matchup. ESPN radio has been debating all week about "which conference is the best" and in the end, they pretty much all agree that its not the conference at this time of year. Its all up to the kids now.
  23. Boise St. just fired their head coach and now several west-coast teams have begun recruiting Mills again. Wishoops.net did an article a week or two ago about it and it sounds like he can still change his mind. (It implied that he was going to back out of his commitment) He had a great senior season! Memorial looked really, really good today. We will see what happens
  24. Its also tough that its in Northern California - a short trip for Washington. Sounds like a very pro-husky crowd. Marquette playing tough.......we will see
  25. I am watching both the NCAA and the WIAA div I boys games......the officiating at both levels has been horrible all day. Lots of good games though
