    Well, he has been pretty bad for quite some time now. He's one of those guys who just doesn't know when to quit, just like Wainwright.

    What does his season ERA have to do with anything? Before his last start at Houston, his previous two starts he went 6.2 and 7 innings giving up zero earned runs. He had a clunker in his last start at Houston, but the two previous he was lights out! I think there is legit concern about this match-up.

    I've been saying this for a while. Frelick isn't a clean-up hitter, and it's time our manager figures that out. I'm wondering if hitting him #4 is messing with his mind a bit?

    We have all complained about luck, that isn't exclusively a Cubs fan trait. Pretty much happens in this forum regularly, especially once upon a time when the Cardinals were good.

    Yup, and he will prove valuable come playoff time as a defensive replacement and pinch runner. He will have value to this team from here on out if used correctly.
