    Trading 6 years of Black for 3 months of JC would be 100% stupid. We do something that stupid, I'm jumping off the Brewers fan train and not looking back...

    100% agreed. Having him get 6-8 at bats per week tells us nothing. Play him full time for the next month and see what happens. Let Winker and Rowdy battle it out for the open spot, not like either deserve to be playing now anyways.

    If Yelich ever moves to 1B, it's going to be after at least a full spring training playing the position. No way they just toss a guy over there who hasn't played there in over 10 years...

    Yelich carrying the team lately... Rowdy is just complete crap. I'm done with him, and truly hope we do something to address the 1B situation sooner than later. Tired of Adames too. If we are offered something for him that can help us, pull the trigger. No way I want to extend this nightmare.

    I used to go to 5-10 games per season, sitting in various seats, not usually the same ones. I do really enjoy the seats in the second level behind home plate though, and actually, have sat in section 217 the last two times. (no alcohol allowed) I enjoy not dealing with the drunks, so the family sections are where it's at for me. For the past 4-5 years, I've been going to no more than 2 games. They have priced me out between parking, food, tickets and gas money to get there (I'm about an hour and a half from the stadium) The food at the stadium is sub par, so why bother? I enjoy watching on TV, so rather than pay $200 or more to go to one single game and avoiding all the hassles it takes to get there, this is what it has come to.

    When I see him pitch this year, I can't help but feel he just doesn't want to be here any longer. I welcome a trade as long as it makes us better either now, or in the very near future. I don't think his heart is in Milwaukee anymore.

    Yeah, Adames is bad enough in the top of the line-up.

    When Hiura starts hitting again at Nashville (and he will) to not give him a shot at the regular DH spot is just plain asinine. What we are doing now isn't working, it just isn't. If the kid can hit, bring him up and let him hit. We have nothing to lose. NOTHING! This ridiculous stubbornness has to stop.

    Reese Olson racked up a career-high nine strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings of one-run baseball against the Twins on Saturday to earn his first big league victory. The 23-year-old right-hander allowed just four hits and one walk on the evening. The lone tally against him came on a monstrous solo homer off the bat of Carlos Correa in the sixth inning. Olson generated 13 swings and misses on 88 pitches in the ballgame -- 11 of those on his slider -- while registering an elite CSW of 36 percent. Wonder what Norris is doing these days... Just a horrible trade.

    The San Diego CC jerseys are by far the worst jerseys of all time, in any professional sport. First time I saw them I thought they were just kidding, and would remove them once the game started. They are a complete embarrassment. Just absolutely hideous.

    It's where Yelich should be once all those OF prospects get here at the same time. (Mitchell, Wiemer, Frelick and Chourio.) I keep thinking one of those 4 are going to get traded at some point. I suppose one could always DH and they could just rotate them all in. It's a good problem to have.

    It isn't being a negative nancy when people are disappointed that we got nothing for Erceg. It's just disappointment. Big difference. The Megill situation doesn't make any difference whatsoever in the Erceg situation. I do think we will probably regret trading Floyd though, but that doesn't matter in this situation either. Just because people disagree with moves the Brewers make doesn't automatically make them negative. Geez.

    This kid could be up in 2024! Looking forward to seeing his progress the rest of this season.

    I don't understand the real purpose of this article. Just thinking about where we'll be in 5 years makes my head hurt. There is no possible way to tell what will be happening at that time. I understand it's just a topic of conversation, but as a Brewers fan, I'm more worried about what is going to happen in tonight's game, that is about all I can wrap my head around at this time.
