    Pizza

It’s the cardboard box. It’s the only pizza at that price point that’s not wrapped in plastic. It makes it look fancier than it actually is. It is wrapped in plastic, but inside the cardboard box. Just sayin'
  2. The NFL is wetting their pants in anticipation of a Patriots (Belichick) vs Bucs (Tom Brady) Super Bowl...
  3. No, the Vikings won...
  4. Yeah, I think they intend to get Suzuki, so Bradley will be their 4 or 5 outfielder.
  5. I think we have to just accept the fact that that Renfroe will be an average player with some HR pop. He will more than likely outplay Bradley, and then we don't have to pay him 2 years longer than Bradley. The only sting for me is that we had to give up 2 guys in our top 20 (minors). I realize that was going to have to happen, so I have made peace with it.
  6. It was actually a genius move to go for it. If Detroit punts, they lose the game. False. They still had to go down the field and get into field goal range to win it. Not a given.
  7. Question. If the Lions were the Packers, in that exact same situation, would you have wanted them to go for it there? My bet is that had the Packers lost a game in that same exact scenario, this board would have blown up. I think it was a stupid call. Get stopped, lose the game automatically. Punt it, and the Vikings at least have to be successful getting back into field goal range, then kick it to win. Anything can happen in that situation, fumbles, picks, miscues. What the Lions did, did all but guarantee the Vikings victory, unless of course, they miss a chip shot field goal. It was a really stupid idea to go for it there, and in the end sealed the game on the spot.
  8. Too bad we lost Robin...
  9. Yeah, I have no interest in dumping our entire farm to trade him either. I'd rather hang onto him and hope and pray he can help the team in some way during his contract.

    Pizza

Another benefit to the Pothole pizzas? Leftovers are great cold! A lot of frozen pizzas are horrible the next day cold...
  11. What are the odds Yelich starts to put up MVP numbers again vs he stays just like he was in 2021? In order to get out from under that massive crippling contract, I'd be willing to roll the dice and think that he is going to be more like 2021 Yelich going forward. If we dumped him onto someone else, and he does in fact put up those MVP numbers again, I'd be fine with it, but probably because I don't have confidence in him returning to his MVP form.
  12. Seriously? I can see how a large market fan base "might" be able to reason it that way, but a small market fan? How high can your payroll be before you hit that luxury tax? 200 million, 250 million, meanwhile, teams like us sit at 100 million...

    Pizza

3 for $10 isn’t a bad price (especially these days). I still contend Red Baron stacks up well against anything $3.33 or less. But is it great pizza? No. Jacks is far better than Red Baron, and remains my go-to cheap pizza...

    Pizza

The only reason I had a Red Baron pizza to begin with was because they were 3 for $10. Hadn't had one in years so I thought I'd give them a try. The bummer is, we still have 2 left. lol
  15. I will not be surprised if we are done adding starters on the offensive side, maybe a 1B, but I can see us going into the season with our current starting line-up, and probably adding a couple bullpen arms from the scrapheap. We replaced Garcia with Renfroe, so that may be our big pick-up for the off season. I could possibly see us adding another no-name or project 1B to share time with Rowdy, but I doubt we add any big name bats. I might be 100% wrong too.
  16. I'm just curious, what would be the upside in just keeping him?
  17. You may have to go to a digital signal or just use DVD as the coax cable is almost dead. Cable companies are going with wifi boxes now with no coax option. No box, no cable, nothing. Just have a DVD player hooked up to the tv itself. The only thing we play on that tv is dvds...
  18. Agreed, I think he made the right call if those were his other options. And yes, it will be a long, boring off season if the lockout drags on, and it sure looks like it will...
  19. I'm also still running a tube tv in my basement for the treadmill. It's 19 years old. We just play DVDs on that tv, so not a big deal. The TV still works perfectly, so I'm just going to remain stubborn on that TV set up. lol

    Pizza

Had a Red Baron thin crust pepperoni for the first time in years. Unimpressive, just like I remember.
  21. Which is before he ever has an AB in a Brewers uniform, so yes, he is 30 as far as we are concerned.
  22. They've got Hiura at a net 0 value now. So swap him in for Urias and you'll probably end up getting just Olson for Hiura, Mitchell, and Turang. Wow, I'd almost consider that.
  23. Chapman? Urias is probably better than him in the grand scheme of things, why would we even want him?
  24. $3.1mm projected for pedro severino. gross
