  1. Neither Buc player will be 100%, and I'm guessing will be used sparingly (or until they are hurt again). Bucs REALLY need Fournette in a bad way. LaVonte David is the guy they need the most to try and stop that Philly run game. Without him, things can get dicey. Glad Shaq is coming back though! Still going to be lacking in WR. Now they lost Grayson who has been excellent since Godwin went down. That leaves Evans, Perriman and Johnson, with Scotty Miller as well (whose only real claim to fame was that back breaking bomb he caught against the Packers in the NFC championship game last season) Gronk will have to play a big role in this one!
  2. Waltzing? lol Dallas Rams Patriots Eagles Bills All the above teams are in the playoffs. Miami and the Colts were no "waltz" teams either. Packers schedule was comparable, but I don't think either team got to waltz through the season on gimme games. 9ers Bengals Cardinals Chiefs Rams I guess we can count the Steelers..................who loosely made the playoffs.
  3. Your schedule is gravy compared to Tampa Bay's schedule next year. Looks like someone is pissed off at Brady. lol
  4. Is this factual? I think that is maybe what it was in the past, but I was told it changed. Yes, but that's starting with the taxes you file in 2023 for sales in 2022. Doesn't affect sales in 2021 and taxes you pay in 2022. Good to know, so as long as you stay below $600, we should be good to go?
  5. We paid off our mortgage about 6 years early by paying extra every single month we had the mortgage. We tried to pay $200 extra a month, and as time went on, we started paying $500 extra once we were financially set. I never figured out how much we saved in interest by paying it off early, but it had to be A LOT over the life of the loan. It was like being released from prison when we paid our last mortgage payment...
  6. Is this factual? I think that is maybe what it was in the past, but I was told it changed.
  7. I'm hoping, no praying, that Hiura finds his stroke and becomes a viable option at 1B in 2022. I really have no interest in a McNeil type player. We desperately need a bopper to add to the line-up.
  8. I've pulled all my ebay stuff down. I'm a small time seller, maybe a $500 to a grand a year in sales. Not willing to go through the hassle at tax time.
  9. The Bucs were a much healthier team when they played the Eagles the first time as well. Now the team resembles a MASH unit. This weekend's game will be a true test of whether Brady's playoff juju can overcome a suspect surrounding cast. Look for the Brady / Gronk show!
  10. I don't think the Eagles should be overlooked by Tampa. Bucs beat them 28-22 this season, with Tampa starting out with a big lead, only to have Philly chip away throughout the second half. Luckily, this one will be played at Raymond James.
  11. Wow, NFL coaches dropping like flies...
  12. Oh I get it, I'm just not going to bow to such nonsense. He's the GOAT for a reason.
  13. A lot of NFL QBs have played on good teams, but no one else has 7 super bowl wins. Down playing the greatness of Brady is just silly talk. I will admit, when he was a Patriot, I rooted against him all the time. Not because I didn't like the man himself, just got tired of watching him win. So I completely understand why so many are against him, and don't want to give him props.
  14. Just because its your opinion (or even consensus opinion) doesn't make it a fact. A fact would be that Bart Starr was 5-1 (.833 W%) in NFL Championship Games, while Brady is 7-3 (.700 W%) in NFL Championship Games. That is hilarious... Brady being the best all time QB is as close to factual as it gets. No other QB is even close to winning 7 super bowls. I get it, people hate agreeing with the fan of another team, but Brady is the GOAT, and it isn't even debatable.
  15. Brady is the GOAT, love him or hate him, it's a fact.
  16. I think Ashby is going to be our 6th starter, assuming we are going to roll with a 6 man rotation.
  17. I watched "Don't Look Up" this past weekend on Netflix. I am not a Netflix subscriber, but my son has an account, and while he was home on break we watched it. It was entertaining and had plenty of characters to absolutely HATE. The parallels to today's society are too many to mention, but watching it made me realize just how sad we are as humans. It was a bit long (2:21) but worth the watch if you have the time.
  18. Since there is nothing else to discuss, I found this blurb this morning: Devin Williams (hand) said Wednesday in an interview with The Athletic that he expects to be fully healthy for the start of spring training after undergoing right hand surgery in October. Williams was forced to miss the entire 2021 postseason after fracturing his pitching hand on September 26 when he punched a wall while out celebrating the Brewers' NL Central division crown. The dynamic 27-year-old righty has emerged as one of the premier relief pitchers in the game, posting a microscopic 1.78 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 140/37 K/BB ratio across 81 innings (80 appearances) over the last two seasons. He's already resumed a throwing program, in addition to lifting weights, and should be ready to go for spring training. SOURCE: The Athletic Jan 5, 2022, 5:22 PM ET
  19. Rodgers has not been a LOT better, it just isn't so. Brady has 1000 more yards than Rodgers, and 5 more TDs. Yes, he obviously threw the ball more, he had to with so many injuries to their RBs, plus throwing the ball is a big part of their offense. Also, with so many receiving weapons (when healthy) it makes sense he threw the ball so much more, which also accounts for Brady having so many more INT. It goes without saying, if you throw the ball more, you have the opportunity to throw more interceptions. I agree with you, Brady or Rodgers may win the MVP, but in the end, it doesn't really matter. I'm sure both players would rather have another Lombardi than another MVP award.
  20. If Rodgers was on any other team, you would understand the "distraction" he caused the team. Since he is on the Packers, no one is able to see the situation clearly at this time, but Packer fans felt a lot differently when the crap came to light this summer. Lots of people had a lot of contempt for the man. Time has passed, and most have forgiven him (winning will do that), but to say he wasn't a distraction to the team throughout that situation as well as the vax stuff is just blind homerism. It's cool, it's part of fandom, but if situations were reversed, and Brady did what Rodgers did ("I might not play this season, I might leave, etc", vax stuff) you would all see it a bit differently. I mean, I'm not going to win this fight on a Packer board, and it's time for me to bow out, so we'll just wait to see what the voters decide. I won't be surprised, or disappointed no matter what they decide. They both probably deserve it, but it surely isn't an open and shut case, and regardless of what the opinion is here, some of the voters will consider the stuff Rodgers did this year when they vote. Will it be enough to change votes, we shall see.
  21. AB's distraction has nothing to do with MVP candidate Tom Brady. Nothing at all, zilch, nada. It's preposterous to compare anything involving Brady wanting AB in Tampa to the nonsense Rodgers put his team through this season. Not even the same ballpark, zip code, country, world, or solar system...
  22. If it wasn't for Tom Brady, AB would not have joined the Bucs. Who has been the biggest distraction for the Bucs this season? Is AB more or less of a distraction than Aaron Rodgers? That's all I'm saying. It'd be silly to use that as a knock against him in MVP voting just as it's silly to think Rodgers did anything off the field that hurt his team. R-E-A-C-H-I-N-G!
