Stop making excuses, this might end up being a really stupid move, and at this time, it sure looks like it. -
The day after Hiura starts to come around, our manager decides to give him a day of rest. Unless there is an injury we don't know about, this move is completely asinine. I know there are a lot of CC supporters here that think he does no wrong and make excuses for him, but this is just dumb. Let the guy continue to boost his confidence. This is not unlike CC either, he has done this to many players over the years. I just don't understand his reasoning, especially since we just had an off day on Friday. Asinine.

I don't think anyone is saying Yelich is toast, at least I'm not. I don't know how anyone who watches this team on a regular basis isn't at least a little concerened about the guy. 60 games isn't much, but it is still 60 games, and with the way he has started this year, concern isn't a crazy concept. Yup, he could come out of it tomorrow and be the Yelich we all know and love, I don't even doubt that can happen, but it isn't abmormal to wonder what's going on with him.

Considering I can find a 4 game stretch similar to the one he just had smack dab in the middle of his MVP 2018 season, while he had been scorching hot in August mind you, I don't think there's enough evidence to proclaim him "most definitely not fine" quite yet. I’d agree with this if my eyes didn’t see what they did in 2020. Yeah, that is the troubling thing, 2020... The 4 game stretch on top of the entire 2020 causes concern, and should.

Lorenzo Cain is currently sidelined with a minor oblique issue, per Brewers manager Craig Counsell. That explains why Cain hasn't played since Saturday, though Counsell said he's been available off the bench and should return to the lineup soon. Christian Yelich, Jackie Bradley, and Avisail Garcia are starting across the outfield for the Brewers on Tuesday night against the Cubs and right-hander Adbert Alzolay. The thing we needed most was to have Yelich and Hiura hit this season. It's early, but worrying is justified after what we witnessed last year. I believe that Hiura could end up being a bust, but I refuse to believe that Yelich is this bad.

Yelich is on the struggle bus, hell, he is actually driving it. I hope he comes out of it before his head won't allow it.

When was the last time Keston played 1B before this year? Seriously? Ever? Yelich to 1B makes sense if he can handle it. He is the worst OFer of the 4 we currently have and he's a huge target. I doubt they make a move like that without giving him a spring training to work it out though. Throwing him out there now wouldn't be wise. It isn't nearly as crazy as you "hinted" at.

Why is Cain not playing again tonight? 2 days off in a row? Screw Garcia, play Cain and Bradley the majority of the time. Unless of course Cain is hurt, which wouldn't be that surprising either.
