  1. In their case, adversity = stupidity. They have gotten what they deserve, but the sad thing is, their competition has had to pay the price for their stupidity as well. Screw the Cardinals, now and forever.
  2. I hear ya, but his swing just looks like he is doomed. Unless he makes some HUGE changes in his swing in the off season, I have no faith in him at all. I'd be happy to turn the page on his time in Milwaukee.
  3. Say what we want about the season, Vogelbach has been a blessing. I was one who originally made fun of the signing. Seemed like we just dropped crap to sign some more. Happy to be wrong!
  4. A bit more power?! His longball numbers would have projected for 5 HR over a full sesson. I'm pretty sure he wasn't advertised as a lead-off bat with zero power. That was not his previous experience. He has been a pretty solid disappointment all around.
  5. I'm not a fan of mic'd up players during the game...Let our boys stay focused on the game for crying out loud...
  6. I don't think that would be a great role for him unless he has a planned piggyback guy every time he takes the mound. 2nd time through the order will not fare well for a guy like Suter in a full season. Can he get away with it occasionally, probably, can he do it for 30 starts? Highly doubtful. I think the more starts he makes, the more likely he will be figured out by major league hitters, especially if they get to see him 2 or 3 times a start. The role we use him in now is probably perfect, but will it work in a 162 game season? I'm gonna say no.
  7. When we dumped Jesus, I don't remember anyone being upset. He was a complete sh*t show the year we moved him, I mean flat out bad. He had no place here, so we truied to get something for him, even if it meant a complete crapshoot of a player like Faria. As much as I loved Jesus while he was good, I was happy to see him leave when we got rid of him, as were most here.
  8. Lineup is posted. Sure would be nice to get Garcia out of that lead off spot, but I guess we have no other real options. So unimpressed with Garcia all season. Just a blah type player with no power and no other outstanding skills. Waste of 20 million for certain.
  9. So this is how it's going to be in game 2 huh? BOOOOOO!
  10. When it comes to the Brewers, Flaherty just isn't ready for the bright lights it seems... It's a shame the Brewers aren't pouring it on... true

  12. So strange that Sogard was relegated to serious bench time for a couple weeks, now CC just has to start him again. I pray that he is not a Brewer next year, CC can't handle it.
