  1. dhgate.com They have really nice quality knock-offs and really cheap. They have all the new ones, and you can get pretty much any player you want. This is the stuff I wear to games so if I do spill something on it, I don't have to care much. Thank me later.
  2. Not one new player, they have all been done before, most have multiples previously, hell, this will be Ben Sheets 5th bobblehead. Hank Aaron has 2, Cain is already getting the Star Wars bobble this year and has 3 others from previous years, Yelich only has one previous (but you can bet there will be a ton in the near future), Uecker has 3, Yount at least 9 off the top of my head, Molitor with 4, and I'm not even going to attempt to count all the Brauns... Sadly, the Brewers don't care about what the loyal collectors want, they just want to sell tickets, and these players will do just that. (Except maybe for Sheets, I'm guessing a lot of the current fans wouldn't even know who he is) They missed an opportunity to do a Nieves No Hitter bobblehead imo. If Yount was necessary for the 50 year celebration, they could have done one of Yount diving, that interlocks with the Nieves no hitter bobble. What could possibly be better than honoring our only official no hitter during our 50 year campaign? What better to honor than the clubs ONLY no hitter in it's 50 year history? Our promo department is lazy and uncreative when it comes to bobbles. EDIT: Molitor has 5 previous, this will make 6.
  3. Brewers shortstop Luis Urias is traveling to the states to get his wrist examined. He developed soreness in the wrist while playing winter ball in Mexico. The Brewers acquired Urias from the Padres in November along with LHP Eric Lauer in exchange for OF Trent Grisham and RHP Zach Davies. The 22-year-old Urias has a .221/.318/.331 slash line with six homers and 29 RBI in 83 major league games over the past two seasons. He is still very young and could develop into a quality major leaguer. Urias is projected to replace Orlando Arcia as the Brewers' starting shortstop this season if healthy. 4. A diving yount and a Nieves No Hitter interlocking like they are doing with the two Yelich would have been epic! Absolutely EPIC!
  5. I assumed that was the reason Yount was picked for the 90's with his 3,000 hit and Molitor the 80's for the 39 game hit streak. Molitor's 39 game hit streak was already commemorated in the SSH bobble a couple years ago. You mean to tell me that they are going to give him a second bobblehead for that accomplishment, and they are not going to give Nieves a bobble for the only official no hitter in our team's 50 year history? Their bobble choices are always so willy nilly. They never did finish the racing sausage set #2, left the brat out.
  6. Hector Gomez of Z101 Digital reports that free agent reliever Pedro Strop is deciding between the Marlins and Rangers. On Monday, it was reported by Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca that Strop was considering the Marlins, Rangers, Cubs, and Brewers, but it now appears that the reliever is down to two. He's coming off a season where he posted an uninspiring 4.97 ERA, but he has shown he's much better than that mark in the past and had ERAs below 3.00 in the previous three seasons. With either Texas or Miami, Strop is likely looking at a high-leverage role. Related: Texas Rangers, Miami Marlins Source: Hector Gomez on Twitter Jan 22, 2020, 10:11 PM ET
  7. If not, we are screwed... Unless a couple of big moves are still coming, however, I don't see that happening.
  8. Pretty lame bobble list. Every single one of those players has had bobbles (most multiples) already. Boring.
  9. There will also be another Donald Driver bobble this year given out at his charity softball game on July 26th. More than likely another Blood Donor bobble as well, subject has yet to be announced. (My guess will be the Udder Tuggers Mascot, but that is strictly a guess)
  10. Looks like they are doing 35,000 rather than all fan this year. 4/12/20 - 70's Hank Aaron 5/03/20 - 80's Molitor 5/10/20 - Yelich 40 HR (interlocks with the Yelich 30 SB below) 6/14/20 - Cain Gold Glove 6/28/20 - Talking Uecker 7/12/20 - 90's Yount 7/26/20 - Yelich 30 SB (interlocks with the Yelich 40 HR above) 8/23/20 - 2000's Sheets 9/06/20 - 2010's Braun Only one Special Event bobble has been announced so far (Star Wars Cain May 9th), but don't worry, there will be 12 others to follow.
  11. So last season, when we added Grandal and Moose, people weren't talking how much better we were? Ok then... The Reds getting better means fewer wins for the other Central teams when they beat them more than last year. We'll see what happens, but refusing to acknowledge that the Reds are now a team we need to worry about doesn't make it true. Looking at their roster, offensively and pitching wise, they look a lot better than us on paper. Yes, I get it, on paper doesn't get you wins or championships, but it's all we have to go on at this moment. That team, right now, looks better than us, and living in a fantasy world acting like they are not going to challenge us and the Cards for the division is shortsightedness.
  12. If the Reds get him, you can't, under any circumstance, tell me that the Reds are a crappy team, and that they won't be in the mix for the Central title. Hell, I believe even without him, they just might finish top 2 in the division... *sigh* Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Reds are still a player for free agent outfielder Nicholas Castellanos. Heyman also reports that the Rangers remain interested in Castellanos, among other teams. Cincinnati was also one of the teams interested in acquiring Marcell Ozuna, who signed with the Braves earlier in the week. The Reds do have talented young corner outfielders like Jesse Winker and Aristides Aquino, but Castellanos would appear to provide more safety than those options. He hit .289/.357/.525 with 27 homers for the Tigers and Cubs last year, and he'd likely put up similar numbers playing in the friendly confines of Great American Ball Park. 13. Keep plugging away man...
  14. 2019 - 4.62 ERA over 50 2/3 innings with a 26/10 K/BB ratio Big giant MEH...
  15. Jaime Pressly was hotter than Margot Robbie has ever been. That is all.
  16. This, completely this...
  17. It's a non issue. If he wasn't a Yankee, there would be no story here. there is always some idiot trying to get attention, so he doesn't cast his vote Jeter's way. Human nature has those types of people, they are always there.
  18. There is no way I get into a bidding war for Nolan Arenado. We can't afford it in cash, and we can't afford it in prospects. Our farm team is our future, once we start draining it for a 2 year rental who we don't know the effects of not playing 81 games at Coor's Field, it gets too damn risky. It's fun to live in a dream world, where we can acquire guys like this, but it just isn't realistic.
  19. Horrible, HORRIBLE outfielder. I can't imagine having to watch that crap show on a nightly basis.
  20. Yeah, he was one of the guys I was hoping we'd see every time we played the Cubs. Just a gas can.
  21. Pink Floyds run of Meddle, DSOTM, Wish you were Here, Animals, The Wall, and The Final Cut was pretty good. I included 6 albums because I think many would feel the first or sixth album were a bit week. Regardless, Rush had a great run of success, and has the main lyricist Peart was responsible for a great deal of that success. I also was surprised to hear a different pronunciation of his name after all these years. Don't forget the run KISS made in the 70's: *ducking* Kiss, Hotter than Hell, Dressed to Kill, Alive, Destroyer, Rock and Roll Over, Love Gun, and Alive II. (I'm including the Alive albums only because they sold mega copies, and the first Alive is what put them on the map...…………...KISS is my favorite all time band, bar none, but RUSH is in my top 5 or so.) *ducking again*

    Pizza

I bought a Palermos tonight just to see what I'd win. (Their marketing gimmick worked on me) Got a $10 Bucks Team Store gift card. Was really hoping for the bobblehead.
  23. THIS. I can't stand that guy. You "can't stand" a guy you've never met because of how he wears a baseball hat? Ummmm, of course I don't mean in the literal sense. Are you saying that you never say you don't like a guy, or hate a specific player, knowing you have never met them personally? Geez.
