  1. I'm looking to trade my 2020 Brewers Woodstock bobblehead for your 2020 Brewers Bugs Bunny... Would prefer a meet-up in the fox valley, or at a Timber Rattlers game, but that is not a deal breaker. Let me know if interested. Thanks!
  2. Lock this thread, the simple sight of his name makes me feel bad inside.
  3. Taken 2 and 3 don't get any better in that regard... To be honest, once you have seen the first, you don't need to see the others...
  4. Peralta's performance is exactly why the rotation just can't be decided this early. You have to give it time to shake itself out and see what happens. If Peralta and Burnes outpitch guys like Anderson, Lauer, Lindblom, etc, then they should have a spot. If they don't outpitch people, they shouldn't have a spot, it really is that simple. It is also too early to give Peralta a spot based on one dominant performance...

It across the street from the PAC. Owned by true Italians as well...

    Pizza

Had a slice of Sal's Pizza (on College Ave. in Appleton) and one of their signature garlic rolls this past weekend. My favorite place in Appleton, bar none. You know when it's good when I am looking to find the time to make it back again this week. Just so good!
  7. Or better yet, as the checker is checking you out, start writing the check out, minus the total. It isn't rocket science, but the way people act, you'd swear it was...
  8. I'm assuming Biggio can play SS and 3B as well? If not, trading Hader for a position we have locked down makes no sense.
  9. sending pm...thanks!
  10. Hopefully, that is not set in stone. Once these guys get going, I'm hoping that CC is able to pick the best 5, not the predetermined 5...
  11. So freaking stupid... Very asinine to open that wound again since it seemed to have disappeared relatively quickly.
  12. Having Broxton on the 26 would just give CC temptation in starting him every few games...kind of joking, but kind of not...
  13. God, I hope not... His bat needs to stay in the line-up, outside of the OCCASIONAL day or rest anyway... I don't expect Anderson to make more than a few starts based on his history (dude is like glass), so it's probably a moot point. I’m not saying Keston will be getting scheduled days off but if there is a double header I could see him sitting out the game if Anderson is pitching. Again not that it will be every 5th game, but just something Counsell will have to consider when figuring out lineups. ok, doubleheaders? how many of those will we play in 2020? It seems like you are backtracking a bit here...

  17. The way this roster is constructed, I'm fine with that to be honest. I like guys who can play every day typically, but if this is what it has come to, and it maximizes our strengths, GO FOR IT!

  21. Not sure I want to give up on him just yet. Hopefully they can sneak him into the minors, but I'd guess someone will snag him.

  23. Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman told reporters on Tuesday that Jimmy Nelson could be a "Brandon Morrow-type" reliever. Nelson is currently getting a chance to win one of the final spots in the rotation for the Dodgers, but there's a lot of competition for those spots, and the right-hander has not been healthy since 2017 when he suffered a shoulder injury diving into first base. There's never been a question about his stuff, however, and if Nelson is moved into a mid-to-high leverage bullpen role, he could miss plenty of bats as a bridge to closer Kenley Jansen. 25. Ummm, well, if that were the case, why don't we have Strasburg and Rendon on the roster then? Why didn't we resign Grandal? Not saying those were smart decisions for a team like us (they were not good decisions) , but if cost is never a factor, then why do we not sign guys like that? All those players would give us more wins, right? I'm just not buying any of it. They lost money, doubtful. Cost is not a factor when making contract decisions, highly doubtful.
