For sure, that almost doesn't even count as an appearance. He should be good to go tomorrow when they need him. -
true

agreed. I'd have been tempted to throw Black out there, and at the first sign of trouble (walk, hit) bring Hader in.
-
Because they have a 3 run lead, there's two outs, and a guy on 1st. And fortunately this team's manager isn't prone to panic as quick as some fans are. Well, to be honest, that could have went south quickly with Guerra on the mound. Having someone up in the pen is a completely normal situation for most teams in that situation. Goldschmidt and Ozuna at bat with a guy on first and this is a one run game, or tied up pretty damn quickly the way Guerra throws meatballs at times.
-
I'm not a fan of this pitching change to be honest. I hope Guerra doesn't walk the first hitter, then give up the bomb, which I can see happening... EDIT: I suppose walking Goldy isn't that horrible...lol

Which is why I think he can only get better! I like the kid too.

I laughed at loud at this, good stuff. This could be a tagline...

Freitas being.....Freitas.

Is Lyles a free agent after this season?
-
I'm not sure how to act with a starter still in the game in the 6th inning...Did CC forget what inning it is?
-
It seems like Moose is one of the few hitters that actually tries on occasion to beat the shift.
-
So 4 games worth of ABs, and he sucks again? actually, kind of...
-
Who would be our guy at 1st next season instead? Frietas
-
Why did Arcia think he had to barehand that? Geez.

Call the Park Ranger!!!!

What kind of throw was that? Horrible baseball. I find the mere presence of Bader irritating. Just the way he moves even annoys me.
-
You just lost all rights to lecture people on this board about their negative thoughts regarding this team. I have never seen a single poster with the high high high highs and strange lows as you.
-
Look at how your post was worded, if not stated as fact, it is surely implied that those who disagreed were wrong. Agreed.
-
I think that is mostly an opinion, not fact... I am for the nets, however, if you are sitting in an area without a net, that is your decision. There is risk involved, and if you are not smart enough to realize that as a fan, and you sit in those areas, there is always a chance to get nailed. It's the idiots that take kids and babies to games and sit in screaming foul ball territory that bug me. I get used to the nets during games, so it isn't a factor for me, but I don't think we can say that the nets won't impact anyone's enjoyment of the game, because there are obviously people that it will.

Who is this Hauser you speak of?

I have hated the Cardinals since 1982, and will hate them until I die!

You know, Yeli might still win the MVP

Yes, you must be positive at all times, and if you are not, you will be called out by the thought police. It's ridiculous. -

Not singling you out, lots of people like to tell others how to feel and post. It isn't one person, it's a collective effort at thought censorship.
