  1. and he plays SS, which is sure looks like we will be needing a replacement for sooner rather than later... bummer.
  2. y'all? UGH!
  3. Feyereisen, a native of River Falls, Wisconsin, posted a promising 2.49 ERA with 94 strikeouts in 61 1/3 innings of relief this season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He was a 16th-round pick of the Indians in the 2014 MLB Draft and got dealt to the Yankees in July 2016 as part of the Andrew Miller trade. Source: Yankees PR on Twitter Sep 2, 2019, 11:37 AM ET
  4. The past doesn’t amount to a hill of beans. This massively injured brewer team is coming together, and their beefed up September pitching staff, Suters aura, and Yelich’s bat, at worst, are gonna make things interesting this last 26 games. *sigh*
  5. Strange, I think that every single day about someone on this very forum...
  6. When it rains it pours Losing Hiura, though a tough break for Hiura, isn't going to matter one bit. Our fate is already sealed. Now is a good time to bring Shaw back up and see if he can get things figured out. Our wins/losses record from this point on means nothing. Time to see what we have in some guys that we need a good look at before the off season.
  7. Explain to me how Aguilar has anything to do with your 90%+ chance of a loss today... If he wouldn’t have absolutely sucked this year, brewers wouldn’t have traded him away, and he’d be in this lineup today, helping this team not suck so bad vs LHP. *shaking head*
  8. I don't think that is stupid at all...That sure as hell felt like the beginning of the end to me.
  9. Explain to me how Aguilar has anything to do with your 90%+ chance of a loss today...
  10. I was just going to type what inning does everyone think Chase gives up his first homer... lol If you would have guessed the 1st, you'd have been a winner....
  11. So, not to long ago, we cut Perez, and now he is pretty much a starting member on our team. (starting at 3B today) Do playoff contending teams waive guys, and bring them back as starters a couple weeks later? Is our front office that confused as to the direction this team needs to be headed? So many things wrong with this team and roster construction. I'm a Stearns guy, but I hope a LOT of lessons were learned this season, and we don't repeat the things that obviously will keep us out of the playoffs...
  12. This has been a lost season for the guy, injuries have derailed him. My bet is he comes back next year as a big time value for the team that takes a risk on him.
  13. Obviously the question will be asked...Will the Brewers claim him? He really would have no place on our roster, but it's fun to speculate. Giants released 2B Scooter Gennett. Gennett has struggled to the tune of a .226/.245/.323 batting line with just two home runs in 139 plate appearances this season between the Reds and Giants. He averaged an .859 OPS and 25 home runs between the 2017-2018 campaigns. Mauricio Dubon will apparently take over as the primary second baseman in San Francisco for the stretch run. 14. Keon Broxton has been suspended two games for throwing equipment and making contact with umpire Manny Gonzalez on Monday night against the Yankees. Broxton has appealed the suspension and will be available to the Mariners until that appeal is heard. The 29-year-old outfielder has struggled to a .173/.241/.286 batting line in 217 plate appearances this season between the Mets, Orioles, and M's. 15. Ok, well, the disaster I am watching has started so early that there is no reason to waste the rest of the night watching this dumpster fire. Hopefully they can re-set and win one tomorrow. *sigh*
  16. nice pick off attempt there Gio… stupid. we continue to do stupid things.
  17. Actually, someone here posted something not long ago that had Miley stating he wanted to stay in Milwaukee...
  18. Nothing is ever in our favor when we play the Cards. I get it, positive vibes are good, but this series is going to be a dogfight, and there is nothing that says we have any kind of advantage in this series, including homefield. This Cards roster has hit .351 against Gio in his career, that is not in our favor for sure.
  19. I’ve changed my mind on that, the anger on my end is gone, he hasn’t had a good 3-4 months imo, but has made up for his bad period with a planned September roster that will make this team one of the best teams in baseball, just like last year. Also love the call-up of Grisham, Spangenberg, and the DFA of Chacín. He’s overcome his mistakes imo. Please explain why you LOVE the call up of Spangenberg so much. You have mentioned it in several threads, why is this move so special in your eyes?
  20. This game thread has a chance at being the lowest in participation all year. I haven't looked, but I don't remember any others with only 3 pages. EDIT: There are 4 others with only 3 pages.
  21. Think Spangy could have made that play that Arcia just made to end the 7th? lol
