I don't believe you. So if we lose tomorrow night, you will no longer pay attention to them the rest of the season, and stop posting? I just don't believe it. -
Soccer? lol I don't watch it. I don't want to get political or ruffle any feathers, but let's just say that 2 seasons ago, the NFL gave me a reason to stop watching. What I have found is that I tremendously enjoy my free time that my no NFL policy has given me. I no longer waste every Sunday sitting on the couch for 7 hours watching pre-games, games, and post games. (and that isn't counting Sunday night games, another 3 hours) I no longer waste every Monday night watching two teams I probably don't like. No more wasted Thursday nights or Saturdays late in the season. No more fantasy leagues, nothing NFL related at all. The amount of free time I have cleared is amazing.. This coming from a die hard previous NFL super fan. Not to mention, I no longer spend money on NFL merchandise. That is also a big bonus in the pocketbook. So between time and money, I don't miss it at all, not one single bit.

The transition is easy...because then it's football season Not for me, I gave the NFL up entirely 2 seasons ago. I can't see that changing anytime soon.
-
Yelich going yard to tie it up here?
-
When Derek Johnson left the organization. hmmmmm, I might have to agree with this. Arcia truly does have a cannon for an arm, that was nice!
-
Asa much as I hate this season, I keep reminding myself that even this is better than no baseball at all, which is right around the corner when winter hits...
-
I never noticed, and did not know that Yelich never takes practice swings during an at bat, or in the warm up circle. Odd.
-
The lead off walk gets us every single time. Without fail.
-
Yeah it's rough. Villar actually possess a skillset we kind of lack this year. Problem is, he was in CC's doghouse, wasn't going to come out, so dealing him at that point was ideal. Too bad the guy we traded him for was a 100% complete non factor.
-
Nice start by Davies, can it last?
-
Glad Rock and BA are back, even though Plesac was entertaining "most" of the time.
-
yuk...to both of you. Every thread should have a Frosty Boys, Coach Cooper, and POURING it on reference though.
-
We know what we have in Wilkerson. I'd cut him now and not think twice about it. Give someone else a shot. Wilkerson is only a bullet taker at this point. He has no future with this organization, none.
-
Moose and Arcia padding their stats.
-
Agree. He is on the bench and shouldn’t be. We need a win today. Play your best. Geez... Figures.
-
Braun hits two homers last night, Sunday game, right handed pitcher. He'll be on the bench today, wanna bet? I'd play him if I were CC, he has been on the bench a couple times this season after a big game, and I don't like it.
-
Finally! A win is still a win! I am just happy that this, my 10,000th post was made in this game thread!
-
He said the same thing earlier in the game...lol
-
Coach Cooper would never have allowed exiting a ballgame early, no matter what the score was, or what time it was. That was blasphemy in Coach C's world...
-
Jeffress should not have started his 3rd inning. Guerra can pitch multiple if needed, asking Jeffress to do something he has never done is not very smart, especially given his struggles as of late. Ok Junior, don't blow this.
-
What would happen if Grandal HAD to leave the game? I mean he was truly injured and had to leave?
-
I have to agree here. Jeffress has done his job, CC is asking too much of him here. Prove me wrong please JJ and CC.
-
Jeffress for 3 innings possibly? Oh my. I suppose it can't be any worse than Guerra.
-
Wow, forgot about JJ. Thanks. That is completely understandable.
