  1. Yup, makes sense... This will be interesting for certain. Oh, and I highly doubt that anyone from the front office is directing CC on how to handle game time decisions. His job depends on what happens with game management, no way he could ever be fired if he is only doing what he is told to do by the front office.
  2. Because Jennings has been so great at getting lefties out this year. BOOO! Starting Jennings is just too cute for me...
  3. Right, besides Jesus hitting the one home run against Flaherty in the season finale last year, the Brewers have not been able to do much of anything against him. I'm going to start Flaherty tonight in a fantasy league. That oughta jinx him. EDIT: Actually, I am 500 points in 1st place in that league, most everything I have done has worked out, maybe I should bench him instead.

  5. If it is our destiny to win 2 of 3 vs the Cards, I sincerely hope it is the first 2. I don't want to lose the first one and feel stressed out the following 2 games needing the wins(s).
  6. I have mixed feelings.. We are still winning, doesn't seem like the best idea to make any big changes at this point. On the flip side, if this is the plan for the wildcard game, might as well test it out. Would rather have tested it out vs someone other than the Cardinals since that is more than likely who we will face in the WC game.
  7. EVERY game matters! At times during the season, this board made it sound like it was only one game, and losing didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. As we found out last year, EVERY game matters...
  8. HA! That is exactly what happened to me, and I'm not even a big Beatles guy. Same. Bigger fan of Pink Floyd, The Who & The Kinks Kiss, Zeppelin, and Judas Priest for me...

  10. Does that make today a "must win?" No, no it doesn't. Massively overused term. Exactly the reaction I expected... There will be a must win game at some point, just can't wait to hear when it actually is.
  11. Does that make today a "must win?"
  12. Freakin' Yadi Neck Tat...
  13. I'm going to say it: This is a must win tonight. Cards win dramatically, we are 1.5 behind the Cubs, every game from this point on is a must win scenario. We hold our destiny in our own hands...(not saying we have to win all 8, this is baseball)
  14. This sums it up for me. The lot they gave up really caused me grief. I was attached to Diaz and Monte due to their time in Appleton. I'm over it, and looking forward to 4 more years of MVP seasons!
  15. There is a target in walking distance of Miller Park? Always looking for free parking, afraid to park in the VA lot any longer since I heard they are cracking down on the Brewers freeloaders.
  16. Gotta love the guy, but there is no way he makes the play-off roster at this rate. Unless the Reds somehow rally and make the playoffs. Huh?
