I think Woodruff is a prime candidate to have a Jimmy Nelson type leap forward at some point down the road in his development. The biggest question is whether the Brewers will be in a position to be patient enough for it to payoff as a solid future starter. Or if he will be part of a trade this off season for a TOR starter... -
I happen to like his "oh shucks" boyish charm. Yeah, I wasn't meaning to cut him down, he's a hard guy not to like! MVP!
-
Yeli not the most well spoken guy on the team... lol He sounds like his age. MVP!
-
No reason Hader can't go tomorrow if the situation called for it to win a ballgame.
-
Woodruff has to be a consideration for next year's rotation, along with Burnes.
-
Imagine this, Yelich has to beat Scooter out for the batting title.
-
If this continues until the last day of the regular season, and we somehow take the division, he has to win it, right? Baez is a Cub, so he has the edge no matter what, but if things continue, he could very well get consideration.
-
Ji Mon Choi has been raking the past couple of weeks. Just thought I'd share. Another homer tonight.
-
We needed an offensive barrage like this. Demoralize the Reds, make them give up and mail in the rest of this series... (wishful thinking)
-
Arcia almost made another dumb mistake at 2B. The guy just can't think when it matters. Seeing the replay, he was totally dead meat, he got lucky.
-
Same, but then we have the logjam again... Braun will be hurt, that is a given, so there is nothing wrong with a Braun, Santana, Cain, Yelich OF I suppose. I do think that Santana will need regular at bats though, not 3 starts per week. I think we need to part ways with Thames once and for all. Just doesn't fit anywhere on this roster.
-
Not if the reliever that comes in for Miley gives up 4 or 5 runs this inning.
-
I'm a Braun fan, but what purpose does he serve for this current team and in the future. Hate saying it, but man is he going to be a waste of roster space in the coming years.
-
Yeah, the writing is on the wall I'm afraid. Good for Domingo!
-
beyendo beyendo beyendo... Ugh! The only think that is going to be good about the off season is a break from the same commercials being played 1000's of times a night...
-
Don't you mean WHEN he did that?
-
Shoo bop, shoo bop shoo bop, shoo bop...
-
Arcia can run faster than that, right... No excuse for not hustling, ever.
-
Why does BA act like a Cubs fan on fly balls. Geez, that wasn't even close to being a well hit ball...
-
I'm telling you, there is no such award as Most Important Player. lol MIP means Most Improved Player.
-
yup, that and don't scoreboard watch. 2 things that Coach Cooper preached on a regular basis.
-
Though it seems like it at times, I am not anti-Counsell. I just don't think there is anything wrong with calling him out when he makes questionable decisions that might cost us wins. No way anyone can say that he hasn't made a LOT of questionable decisions throughout the season. I still think he is an average manager, like most others... I was however, anti-Yost and RRR, totally and completely.
-
Oh, so the manager can win games for your team but he can't lose them? Got it... I thought there wasn't a need to argue it any further? lol true...

You can read back in the IGT threads to see a lot of the times he wasn't a good manager... It isn't about complaining to complain. People who have different opinions than you aren't necessarily complaining to complain. Many different takes on any given situation. No need to argue about it further, I don't think he is anything better than an average manager, like most managaers in MLB.
