  1. Packer talk on the Brewers board? UGH!
  2. Let Arcia get completely right before we bring him back. Doesn't do us any good if we rush him back before he has fixed what was wrong. Of course he is hitting in CS.
  3. What we need is a daily "guess the line-up" thread. It is tedious to see all the predictions in this thread every day. old man rant over.
  4. I think Counsell is a Brewer manager as long as he wants to stay. I think he has laid roots with our organization, so the only way I see him leaving is for a GM job. Stearns, maybe a different story, however, I think the only way he leaves is for a bigger market job. Do we know what his dream job is? If he contiunes to have success with the Brewers, I can see another team come calling and PAY him BIG time! Sedar could go today as far as I'm concerned, but it seems as long as Counsell and Stearns are here, the windmill is safe.
  5. Do you mean our pitchers, or all pitchers in general? I understand it, in fact it was uually pretty obvious that Suter was dwwply affected when he would face a line-up the 3rd time.
  6. or, Syndergaard is cursed. Dude has pitched 90+ innings since 2016. Aquiring him would make me REALLY nervous considering what we would have to give up.
  7. CC has pulled starters all season with low pitch counts, with leads, before they appeared to struggle. How do we know our starters can't go more than 4 or 5 or 6 innings when they have rrarely been given the chance for us to find out.
  8. None of our starters go more than 5 or 6 innings, he'd fit right in, assuming he could only go 5 or 6 innings max. He only pitches every 5 games now as it is.
  9. Are they being raked over the coals too, because I'm not seeing their names in national headlines.
  10. Why, he hasn't earned a call back yet, and from the looks of things, he still isn't right...
  11. It's been going on all year... The bullpen is no longer magic, they have shown chinks in the armor, so CC needs to maybe re-evaluate how he is doing things. Why not let Miley start the 7th, and if there is one guy who reaches, you pull him. Now, when he hould probably be pulling Williams, he lets him ride.
  12. Ramos from TB? If so, he is hurt, and may be out a long time... Otherwise, if it's a different Ramos and he is a Twin, I don't know who that is. lol
  13. CC can't win......if he leaves him,in and gives up the lead people *****.....pulls him 3rd time through the order coming back from an injury with a fully rested pen and people *****. Every decision is wrong and the flipside to what you are saying is that CC can't be questioned, and is always right. it's a viscious circle.
  14. Then we agree to disagree, however, not sending Pina was the right move...
  15. Yes, if he gets in trouble, even one guy gets on base, you pull him. CC won't see it that way though. He'll be done.
  16. Getting the third out at home plate with the pitcher running and with Jesus coming to bat, and what should have been a man on 2nd and 3rd was just not the right move Ed.
  17. That is because he is a fat slow pitcher. I sometimes don't think Sedar knows who is running, just sees a body and puts up the windmill. We know one thing for certain though, Sedar's job is safe, no matter what he does, he is our 3rd base coach.
  18. Good idea, waive home the pitcher, who now has to go out the the mound and pitch. It's always something. Keon cost us a run there for sure.
  19. I actually do not think Pina would have scored, he is slow, like crawling slow. I think he was dead meat had he gone.
  20. Which is probably what Keon was thinking, the windmill was going to be in effect. Geez. No excuses, that was a lame baserunning mistake by Keon.
