  1. Not here.... still liked him over other guys sent packin (Miller, Villar, Saladino soon). When it comes to the nerd, and CC's love for him, never say never...
  2. Problem is, we still have the 7-8 in our order as black holes.
  3. 100% agree. Hated seeing him go, but like you said, those other 4 guys are still Brewers, so at least there is that.
  4. Except one of Shaw, Schoop, and Moose will be on the bench every day to start. This is such a curious move.
  5. At least Villar will see everyday playing time from now on. I still think he got screwed this year, but that is water under the bridge. Probably a good time to scoop him on the fantasy waiver wires...lol
  6. Whew....we dodged a bullet. No interest in this guy. Glad it wasn't us who over payed.
  7. Man I hope this is false. This makes me sick.
  8. Such crap. This is just so bad. MORE SWEAR WORDS!
  9. Not Erceg, please, NOT Erceg. Geez, another one of my favorite farmhands bites the dust. SWEAR WORD, SWEAR WORD, SWEAR WORD! Harvey, we get Harvey by trading our 3B of the future? Disappointment sets in...……………………..hard.
  10. I have to say, getting him made a lot more sense than getting Moose. Can't wait to see how this all turns out, but I really wanted Dozier if the price was right. Dodgers are pretty damns serious about winning THIS year with Machado and Dozier as guys being added for the stretch run.
  11. This move would anger me. He is nothing but an innings eater and a "guy" to add to the roster. He is not a guy a contending team should be looking at. 1.45 whip, walks a TON of guys, almost a 4 ERA. This screams desperation for a player we really aren't in desperate need of. This move would anger me...
  12. Ask any Brewer player from 2012 to 2015. was going to say the same thing...
  13. To avoid disappointment, as fans, we should not be expecting anything, nothing, nada, zilch, nothing from Nelson this season. Anything he does add that is positive is just a bonus. I am expecting nothing from him, as if he doesn't exist, the rest of this season.
  14. Villar is still on the DL. Like that makes a difference... Villar will see even less playing time now once he gets back. He will be a non factor from here on out.
  15. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/SLN/SLN201105070.shtml Our closest no-no besides Nieves was Odell Jones, lost after 8.1 IP https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CLE/CLE198805280.shtml Then there was the Sabathia no hitter that wasn't ruled a no hitter, even though we all know it was a no hitter...
  16. Man, I'm tired of seeing these horrible line-ups. It is a total and complete wonder we have the record we do, and that we are actually in a play off hunt. Just a rotten line-up, it seems like every single day.
  17. Math is not my strong suit, so some of the experts on the site, feel free to jump in and correct me if I'm wrong, but if we have a 40 man crunch, remove one player, Kodi, then add another, Soria, doesn't that mean we are in the exact same situation pre trade? I am a lot higher than most here on Kodi, I don't like the trade from the stand point that we NEED a bat or 3, we need a starting pitcher, or 2, and we jump in the reliever pool instead? I realize that the odds of another deal or 2 following this one are pretty high, but if nothing else comes to life, I HATE this deall tremendously. I'll pass final judgement after the deadline to see what else transpires, but individually, on a trade by trade basis, I really dislike this one.
  18. This complety! FAR far from a bust. Ridiculousness.
  19. We already have Miller and Saladino. I don't want a guy off the scrap heap, I want Keston, starting at 2B in the very near future... Trading a guy who will more than likely be our 2B for many years will only leave us a hole at 2B with nothining even close to being ready in the near future.
  20. That's why I would trade for Realmuto even though it would involve Keston. He's one of the best players in the game at the toughest position to find talent, and he's under control for a couple more years. So trade our 2B of the very near future to fill a glaring hole... Then, next year, we will need a 2B, what do we do then? Trade a valuable piece to fill a hole, then leave another hole to be filled, I'm not feelin' it. If Huira was a player that was this close, and was only depth at that position, or blocked by a stud, then maybe, but as it is now, we would still need a 2B. I would not, no way, no how, trade Huira for a catcher, no matter who they are.
