Please remove Peralta from these trade offers. The thought of including him for a 2 month rental is just plain asinine.

Peralta has to be off the table for all trade talks. -
There is just no way we can give Peralta up in a trade at this point, not for Machado, not for Syndergaard, not for anyone unless we get more pieces that can help us.

No possible chance we give up Peralta AND Burnes, then add Hiura as well. This would gut us. Hiura IS our 2B of the future, and if we trade off both Burnes and Peralta, where does that leave our rotation in the future? I'm just not on board with trading for Machado when all it really does is mortgage our future, and doesn't guarantee a thing as far as playoffs or world series...

Great, but at what cost? I don't think we are in a position to trade the farm, especially pitching. At some point, we have to rely on "our" guys to fill the rotation. I'm thinking Shaw ends up with a lengthy stay on the DL due to his wrist injury anyway.

Brewers manager Craig Counsell said after Sunday's game that he doesn't think Travis Shaw (wrist) will require a stint on the disabled list. Shaw exited Sunday's game after aggravating his right wrist on a swing. There should be more clarity on his status in the next day or two, but Shaw thinks the scheduled off-day on Monday will help. If Shaw needs surgery, replacing him with Machado doesn't tip the scale for us. Adding Machado WITH Shaw in the line-up, that's a different story.

No, he won't... Does anyone really think we are scoring 9+ runs today? No, what I meant was, he will not have to answer for anything. His post game interviews are just plain vanilla. They don't ask him the tough questions.

I think the biggest gripe is that we are already missing Cain, why not rest Jesus when the line-up is more in tact, not rest him the same day that Cain is off. Every bat matters... Every game matters, as we found out last season.

Sure looks like CC is throwing in the towel on a series win today... Aren't all games important when in a playoff race? I hope I am 100% wrong, but I don't like this approach at all.
