  1. Perez MONSTER game last night, Villar made some things happen, and neither can crack the line-up today. CC often sits guys the day/night after big offensive games, which I don't quite understand. Yup, I get it, playing the lefty righty match-ups and all that crap, but man does he tinker with the line-up more than needed. It has to be frustrating as a player to have a great game, feel like you have things going, then BAM, bench time.
  2. Just binge watched both seasons of October Road. It was a short lived series (2 seasons) from I think 2007 or 2008. Just love it!! It got cancelled after it's second season (which bothers me to this day) and didn't get to resolve anything, so on the DVD issue, there is a short "ending episode" that did not air which at the very least ties it up nicely. For whatever reason, this show hit a nerve with me, and is one of my favorites of all time.
  3. LA to Vegas cancelled after just one season. Bummer.
  4. Chili's is fast becoming as annoying at Gruber Lawffices and Pizza Ranch commercials... It's madening.
  5. So happy to see the NERD pinch hitting. Rodney looks like a punk with his hat cocked like that.
  6. FANTASTIC! Gruber Lawffices...
  7. Only the SS on the left side of the infield, with 4 deep in the OF, and Thames tries to pull an outside pitch. lol If I was getting these shifts on me, I'd be practicing bunting every damn day during batting practice.
  8. Without even having to think about it, YES, 100% YES!
  9. Without even having to think about it, YES, 100% YES!
  10. Dozier is only for 1/2 a season, so it may be great this year, but we would be stuck with no 2B for the future.
  11. I can't wrap my head around the fact that people are completely ignoring his injury history, and are willing to deal our 2B of the future for him, plus our two top pitching prospects, one who is already paying dividends, and the other who is knocking on the door! I can't believe so many are so willing to ruin our pipeline for a guy as unreliable as Syndergaard. When he is healthy, he is an ACE, when he isn't (the past 2 seasons) he just occupies a place on our DL. We can't afford the risk, we just can't.
  12. Freddy locking in, but the offense doing him no favors...
  13. Counsell waived Scooter? March 28, 2017 the reds picked him up. Dude is batting like .330 with at least 12 HR. Counsell, like any manager has a strong voice in waiving players. I don't think you understand what I'm saying...
  14. This is what says it all for me... Having Syndergaard on the roster, but not on the field every 5 days is a deterrant, a BIG one!
