  1. Not quite, but I'll still take it! I meant to say he is going to find a hole and single, yeah, that's what I meant to say.
  2. Red Sparrow is tremendous! Quiet Place is awesome as well.
  3. The Marlins are a mess, not a good baseball team. Anything but a sweep of this series will be a disappointment.
  4. Best OF logjam strategy at this point: Bench Santana Man I wish we could have moved him in the off season for a starter...
  5. Pizza and chicken are really good... Commercials suck. I find the Gruber Law guy more annoying. Hate both commercials, but Pizza Ranch is awesome! Gruber Lawffices... When he says Law Offices, he slurs them into one word, Lawffices, drives me crazy.
  6. When/if Braun is healthy, he will find himself in the lineup. We really gotta stop going down this road around here. 3B?
  7. Thames MUST always be in the line-up against any and all right handers. No questions asked, just make it so.
  8. How so? He has looked old, like he is wincing most of the time. I don't know if this is just his "way" but he doesn't move like I expected, and outside of his hot start, he hasn't looked good in the field or at bat. Plenty of time to change my mind, but as of now, I'm not quite sure he is going to be half the player we thought we were getting.
  9. Maybe, however, Cain hasn't made many 'tough' plays yet this year either. ^ This. Cain has looked old to me, not like a guy with another 4 years to play on his contract, that's for sure. His contract is going to bite us, watch and see.
  10. you DL him so we can get someone else on the roster who can actually play. Having him day to day at all times wastes a roster spot.
  11. Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Wednesday that Ryan Braun's calf is acting up again. That explains his absence from the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds. It's a day-to-day situation for now. Hernan Perez is starting in left field and batting fifth versus Cincinnati right-hander Tyler Mahle. Source: Adam McCalvy on TwitterApr 18 - 12:09 PM
  12. Newsflash: Ryan Braun advances to 2nd base on Shaw's single, and to 3B on Santana's fielders choice, and didn't pull up hurt... Pictures at 11...
  13. just makes no sense. I am becoming less and less of a Counsell fan...
  14. 100% agree. If Villar is our guy in the future, let him play 90% of the games at 2B. Sogard is getting too much playing time.
  15. Completely agree. It is hard to talk about tv shows with colleagues these days because of what you just said. No one watches the episodes at the same time due to binge watching, dvr, etc. Kind of sad really.
  16. With Nottingham waiting in the wings, NO WAY I'd empty the farm for a catcher. NO WAY! What some of you are proposing is insane. We are going to need to invest in starting pitching, and soon, any bullets we have left and are willing to trade have to be spent in that direction, not a catcher.
  17. You and the entire Brewers' marketing department, who is itching to kick in the inevitable "Sheriff of Nottingham" campaign... Awesome bobblehead opportunity there for sure!
  18. Mets are playing in the same weather...Weather is never an excuse for anyone if both teams have to play in it.
  19. difficult to remove by snow blower too. All those layers of sleet and ice underneath, it's a complete nightmare.
  20. We have too many outfielders, We have too many outfielders, We have too many outfielders, and that is what we might be down to? lol I guess you can never have too many outfielders on your team after all.
  21. SHAW! One run shot. We have to be the worst base-running team in all MLB.
