  1. I hate neck tattoo........so much! 2nd homer of the year and it has to be against us. Hate that guy.
  2. Thanks for sharing that information, nothing wrong with a positive take, in fact, it is welcomed! Still, if there are only 42 seats available, which means only 42 can be signed for those seat holders, they should include some sort of COA or specially marked ticket. I have seen some regular ones signed in gold sharpie that look exactly like the ones given away in the check deck.
  3. well, they only do 42, so there must not be that many people willing to shell out $90 for it... If they could sell 100, you would surely think they would.
  4. They have had juicers in their recent history as well.
  5. Nothing extra for the Vaughn either. These are becoming less of a "need" for the collection when anyone can take the bobble to the player, and have it signed the exact same way with a gold sharpie... I don't know why an organization like the Brewers can continuously drop the ball on simple common sense issues like this... When they offer signed bobbles, they are obviously pandering to collectors, you'd think they could do their homework and do it right.
  6. Maybe he is working his way out of the shadow of RRR after all...
  7. My wife thinks I am crazy, but I ALWAYS park as far away from other cars as possible. I don't mind the walk, even in the winter, even in the heat. It is worth it to me to save my car from a ding or dent. My Dad always did this to avoid dings, and I now completely understand why he did it. I go so far as to park only in end stalls as well when possible, which cuts the likelihood of a ding from another person in half. Am I crazy, maybe a little, but I value my car, always have, and I treat it with respect, even though nobody else on earth does. The car I drive has about 2 little dings because I refuse to park next to anyone unless I am forced to do so. My wife's ride on the other hand is loaded with dents and dings from her co-workers primarily (she is a teacher, who would have thought teachers could be so clueless, but at the risk of sounding sexist, 90% of the other teachers in her building are also female...), but she does get them in parking lots as well. She thinks I am crazy for the extra effort I put in to avoid the problem, but I always tell her to compare her vehicle to mine... The conversation usually ends right there. We recently traded her van in for an SUV. I begged and pleaded her to take the same precautions as I do. She did try to appease me for a couple weeks then slowly but surely gave in to her old ways. We now have one giant ding just above the rear wheel on the driver's side, and one huge chunk taken out of some plastic chrome on the passenger side. It absolutely amazes me how fast this happens. It angers me even more that people are so careless. I have witnessed countless people in parking lots whipping their doors open right into the car next to them, 99% of the time they are completely unfazed, shut the door and don't even look for the damage they cause. They just don't care. I have seen people bump into cars in the parking lot and not even stop to look at the damage. I have turned license plate numbers in to the police a couple of times, and I have left notes on car windows containing the plate number of the person who damaged their vehicle by opening doors into them. I got into a "conversation" with an obese lady once who opened her door into another car, scraping paint and denting the other vehicle. She had to swing her door open as far as she could to be able to exit her car, that is how big she was, and in the process of swinging her door open, she just crunched the car next to her. She was annoyed that I took interest since it wasn't my car, and acted like she had no choice but to do what she did. She waddled away with no regard, but I did leave her plate number on the windshield of the other car and explained what happened. There had to be $600 or more of damage. So I may in fact be a little crazy when it comes to the subject matter, but I can't help it... I like my car to look nice, even though no one else cares what I like...
  8. Which is why the Brewers should at least include a COA with the one that costs $89... They did nothing extra for the Superhero Lucry.
  9. Any information on Harrison's injury?
  10. He looked horrible in Appleton a few nights ago, A ball minor league hitters had no problem knocking him around. I hope he fares a lot better with the major leaguers...
  11. Wily at Colorado Springs? That straight fastball is going to get crushed in that thin air. Can't see how CS can help anyone figure things out.
  12. As young as he is, I see no reason to field trade offers for him unless someone comes calling with an offer that is just too good to be true. At some point, we have to start keeping our young guys so we have the players it takes to contend when that time finally arrives. Lucroy should be traded, without a doubt, Braun I'd like to see retire a Brewer, but the odds of that happening are not in our favor. It's nice having a guy that is a lifetime Brewer, kind of Yount-like. I wouldn't mind keeping Braun around to be that old vet who is still helping the team out when we are competing for the WS... I'm a Braun fan, regardless of his past. He has made amends in my mind.
  13. why not suspend starting pitchers for "games started" instead of total games. Total games for a starting pitcher is a joke. Suspend them games started, based on their teams typical starting rotation.
  14. Such a great song and such a great line! It's the middle of the night and you just inspired me to listen to that song. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can appreciate Eddie in all his glory...
  15. a "pastor" was robbing your house?
  16. I don't find it anything notable. Ryan Braun has always been a good PR guy and says the right things. Yeah, that press conference after his positive PED test was thrown out due to a technicality was a good PR move; he said a lot of "right things" that day. Oh geez, let it go already... I don't understand how people are still holding this over his head. The guy made a mistake, he has paid the price, he is making amends. What good does it do to hate one of your own guys. Time to move on.
  17. Hard to believe the t-rats could have 8 guys in the all-star game, 5 hitters and 3 starting pitchers, and still be below .500 and in 7th place...
  18. "I wish I was the full moon shining off a Camaro's hood" Oh man, who writes lyrics like this. Every time I hear this song, I pause and make myself aware of brilliance...
  19. I'm not sure trading for an outfielder is on our current radar screen... We have other pressing needs like 1B and 3B that we are going to have to address at some time. We will always be able to use pitching...
  20. Had a few things signed today, decent crowd, and they will just get bigger each Sunday from here on out as the weather gets nice. I had 8x10s signed by Diplan, Aviles, Isan Diaz, Gatewood, Harrison, Gehlfi, and Griep. Had some leftovers that I didn't get signed last time for various reasons. Luis Aviles is a class act... Very polite kid. I had him sign an 8x10 in a gold sharpie that wouldn't quite work right. He took a blue one, traced over the top and was laughing about it. He tried really hard to make it look good... Monty Harrison is still somewhat of a jerk in the signing department. Shows up late, and left early today. He acted like he was just going to take his ball and go home. Everyone else was still signing, he just got up and left. He signs with no regard to the person he is signing for, and his sigs are slowly getting more sloppy as the season goes on. Dude just doesn't care, and doesn't care that you know it. I can understand that his season is not going so well, but the rest of the guys are polite and friendly, he just isn't. Diplan is a super nice kid. I had two 8x10's, and was only going to have him sign one because I think it's rude to do more than one. He saw the 2nd one and said he'd sign that one too. That was awesome! Still a great experience if anyone hasn't been there for auto Sundays before, but they really need to open up the area the players are stationed. They should move them more under the tent, clearing more space on the walkway. It is starting to get pretty crowded, and the kids are just so wild, running all over the place, budging in line, etc...
  21. Peralta to Colorado Springs? I can't see how that is going to help him. I hate the fact that our AAA team in in Colorado. Just a bad place to have any of your minor league teams play.
