  1. exactly. I hope Stearns is just playing with the Mets at this point, and is laughing behind their backs.
  2. That is too factual of a statement, temper it down a bit, say something like "I think Lucroy is going to the Mets..."
  3. This is not official in any way, but a friend of mine in the Cleveland area has been hearing Tyler Naquin thrown around a lot in a Lucroy trade. Rumor only, but since it's all we have to go on currently, thought I'd throw it out there.
  4. Which probably means a deal with Houston is in the works!
  5. If that is the case, offer up both Jeffress and Smith for Giolito, hell throw in some others as well...
  6. Doesn't matter what anyone says, it matters that Stearns is at the helm, and he doesn't believe that garbage. In the end, he will get the maximum haul he can for Lucroy, and you can bet your rear end, he is going to warrant a LOT! Like so many have said, Lucroy leaving is going to be very sad, but seeing what return he brings back is very exciting! We are about to find out what a luxury having a catcher like Lucroy has been these past several years when he leaves us, and we have to look at that black hole in our line-up.
  7. Just got home, turn on the game, NO GAME on FSN today. bummer...
  8. Still looking for the 1994 Brewers SGA magnetic schedule... Anyone?
  9. well, CC did learn from RRR, the master of no backbone...
  10. More talk of acquiring Puig to flip later? Who is going to want him? I want no part of that guy in a Brewer's uniform. If we do end up with him, I surely hope everyone is right about being able to flip him because I can't see him being very happy in Milwaukee. Poor attitude, small town club removes the spotlight from him, and I think he likes the spotlight...
  11. I wonder if Isan Diaz will get a bump before the season is over? Gonna miss Ghelfi's bat in that T-Rats line-up for sure.
  12. Chapman also has the "name" which makes fans happy. Fan bases love getting the name players, and Chapman fits that bill.
  13. Silly question, but how do you pronounce Erceg? Tried to listen to the T-Rats announcer, but either wasn't paying attention when he was announced, or I couldn't quite understand how he was saying it.
  14. sure was, I was there to witness it! This t-rats squad is a joy to watch. Their bats are on fire as of late!
  15. Who actually thinks Braun has a BAD contract? I see it mentioned a lot, but compare his contract to other players of his ability. I think his contract is a bargain at today's prices.
  16. At the very least, I'd be "resting" Luc frequently until the deadline...
  17. They never fixed Gomez, and they make no attempt at fixing Sedar as our 3B coach. Just saying...
  18. yup, very questionable to move Gatewood off the most needed position on the big club. Gatewood is huge, he'd be a great target at 1B, but is holding his own at 3B, and we desperately need a 3B to come down the pipe...
  19. I bet if you put Puig on a team where he's going to start everyday and in a city the national media doesn't give a crap about and the local media barely care about the team, all these supposed problems with him will disappear. I'd be willing to take that bet... He seems like a guy who wants the spotlight to me. My bet is that if he were to come to Milwaukee, with no chance of winning during his time here, and no spotlight, his attitude would be even worse. No thank you.
  20. Though the T-Rats aren't winning as many games as I expected with their line-up, it has been a total blast watching these guys this season. (Harrison, Miguel Diaz, Freddy Peralta, Gatewood, Diplan, Trent Clark, Devin Williams, and my personal favorite, Isan Diaz)
  21. The only risk with Ryan Braun is his health. Keep him healthy, he produces, simple as that. He would be a great candidate for DH if the National league decides to go that route.
  22. I got a broken Jedi Luc last season, didn't notice it until I got home and they replaced it with no problem, didn't even want the broken one back. (I had sent them pics of the cracked ankles)
