Looking to trade for one if anyone has an extra... Anyone know the story as to why the Chinooks did an umpire bobblehead? EDIT: Picked one up on ebay, no longer need one. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/BRUCE-FROEMMING-UMPIRE-BOBBLEHEAD-LAKESHORE-CHINOOKS-MILWAUKEE-BREWERS-/00/s/NzM1WDQ1OA==/z/SAsAAOxyyjpRwlpV/$(KGrHqV,!oEFG1RuZH0HBRwlpUtVPQ~~60_3.JPG -
That should be in Blue, right? Gindl is actually still on the MLB roster, right? Wow, RRR never ceases to amaze Gindl is still on the active roster and the manager has very little say on who stays or goes down on the roster. DM is the one who sets the roster. Are you saying that RRR has no say in who goes up and down? I find that extremely hard to believe since the managers job depends on how well his team does, and if he has no say in who he has to play, how can he be blamed? That aside, RRR makes horrible decisions on a daily basis, so he should be canned anyway, but I digress.

Braun, Biogenesis and the Whole Crazy Thing
TURBO replied to splitterpfj's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Just read the latest, and the witch hunt continues... Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports that people who have spoken with MLB investigators feel it's likely that "at least some" suspensions will be issued in the Biogenesis case. MLB has begun interviewing players associated with the case, though they have yet to talk to Ryan Braun or Alex Rodriguez, seemingly because they want to gather enough evidence before confronting them. Interestingly, Heyman notes that MLB officials believe the league's Joint Drug Agreement may allow it to announce suspensions before any appeal process because the names involved have already been leaked. The MLBPA obviously wouldn't be happy with that. While Braun and Rodriguez have garnered most of the attention in the case, Melky Cabrera, Bartolo Colon, Yasmani Grandal, Nelson Cruz, Jhonny Peralta, Everth Cabrera, Francisco Cervelli, Jesus Montero are among the other players who have been connected to the now-shuttered clinic. Ok, I'll play. Yes, he is. He can't be any worse, and if he is better, it's a win! Who cares, he can't be worse than anything else we are throwing out there at 1B Again, who cares, we need him at 1B. Isn't it obvious? 1B.

...or cry.

I don't care what anyone says, I like me some Scooter! great baserunning play right there!
-
Since when did our 40 man roster make any sense? How many SS and Catchers did we have this season, and how many all at one time on the big club? How many actual 1B did we start the season with? Making sense is not important to this organization right now.

Yes he has. I think he has been a good hitter throughout his Minor League career. Of course, I believe that batting average does have some merit, even though there are those here who do not. Batting Average 2010 - .309 2011 - .300 2012 - .293 2013 - .297 The way some here talk, the kid can't hit anything but singles: 2B 2010 - 39 2011 - 20 2012 - 30 2013 - 7 HR 2010 - 9 2011 - 9 2012 - 5 2013 - 1 You can crunch numbers any way you want, but it all comes down to opinion. The Brewers organization thinks he can hit, I agree.
-
Scooter has been a good hitter all through the minors too. This is where someone throws up his stat lines and compares him to Hart, Prince, etc trying prove me wrong.
-
Yuni has no business in a MLB line-up, and I truly believe that we are the only team in MLB that does not know this.
-
Nope, that wasn't me, I wasn't at that game...
-
TheCrew07 = MVP (Most Valuable Poster) That was a great read, and completely agree with you 100%. The state of our 1B position this season, and entering the season with no real option at 1B just baffles me as to why Morris is still not on the big club. I have such a hard time with the way this team is ran, I think it is time for a change,
-
ummmmmm, errrr, ok then, but I disagree. There has to be plenty of times when that exact play occurs and the runner on 2B does not score. To blanket that statement and say every single time just can't be accurate.
-
oops, sorry about that, the proper edit has been made.
-
Glenn Braggs was quite an athlete back in the day, but he never quite figured out how to play the entire game of baseball... Gomez is just awesome! Between him and Segura this year, I can't decide who I like better. Can you imagine what shape this team would be in without them? I shudder to think about it.
-
Does sportscollectors.net give you players addresses too, or are you on your own for that part?
-
I really see no purpose to keep Yuni around much longer. It's time to cut the cord.
-
Not sure why this is that shocking really...Both players are capable of having hot streaks and big games. I enjoy the crap out of watching the young guys produce!
-
Don't let this guy off the hook. Next time you stop in and he isn't there, ask an employee when he will be back next...
-
The kid has no power...
-
RRR loves him some Yuni B! Hitting 5th. I'd cry if this wasn't so funny.
-
I agree, it is a cool bobble!!
