  1. AWESOME!!! I hope that is the case!!! Thanks for posting that!
  2. DM is no fool, he wants to win, and continuing to run an inferior option out there every day without fail, no matter what his salary is seems ridiculous. I highly doubt Melvin is making RRR start Weeks when his job could be on the line based on on-field performance. If Melvin is calling this shot, RRR needs to stand up and tell him he is wrong. Of course, I think RRR is making this decision 100% on his own, so it is probably a moot point.
  3. :angry :angry Everyone knew it, still doesn't make it any more watchable. It is becoming quite un-enjoyable to watch this nonsense day after day, night after night... I have to ask again, is RRR completely untouchable as far as job security? I think he is. i wouldn't get mad when the brewers lost during the ben sheets years. they just sucked and i knew it. this year is beyond frustrating because there is talent on this team. we are wasting the prime years of braun's career. brewers get great players once every 20 years. we had a golden opportunity back when we had fielder. im already counting the days until football season. this is going to be a bad, frustrating, and boring year. 77-85 here we come. Yup, agreed. Back then it was pretty much expected to lose more than we win, but with a little taste of success in the past few years, I have come to expect a lot more. It is depressing really...
  4. These post games are unbearable to watch. I just can't do this any longer.

  6. It looks like if Aoki had not dove for home plate, and had just ran through it, he may have been able to beat that out. Him sliding allowed his legs to be out there for the diving fielder.
  7. Putting the winning run at 3B? On purpose????? *shaking head* Sure hope this works out, and I understand the Molina fear, but man.
  8. Axxy on the mound with no one warming up... All I can do is laugh.
  9. Having Gonzalez bat is like giving up. I really hope this guy is gone when Hart returns.
  10. I don't know if anything was intentional, but I do know that if it was, there will be no payback, there never is. That is just how we roll.
  11. Hey, we never retaliate, so why not? It's dirty, but part of the game. They know they can do it to us at will with no retaliation.
  12. Rickie should NOT be hitting here...A day off for this guy should mean a day off!!!!! UGGHHH! Of course he will now hit a HR since I just posted this. EDIT: K - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Shocking.
  13. Badey comes through, too bad Gonzalezy couldn't do HIS job.
  14. So Weeks finally gets a day off, and we still have to suffer through Lucroy hitting 5th? Please come back soon Corey Hart...
  15. Not sure why you feel the need to taunt me. Whatever floats your boat I guess... I am not taunting you. I am pointing out that despite you being a prolific poster, you don't seem to cover very many topics. If you don't agree, so be it. I don't agree with your take on my posting habits. In these threads (In Game threads) I go with the flow. Weeks comes up a lot because that is what is going on at the moment, Same thing with the manager. He makes decisions, and it is hard not to comment. Isn't that what these threads are all about? Game discussion live? It seems there are a lot of posters in these threads banging the same drum day in and day out about various players, etc, yet you chose me to call out, as you have done before. I can't wait to be able to say how Rickie has turned a corner and is helping the team win games... I hope that day is sooner rather than later.
  16. It doesn't matter how bad they are, I won't lose interest, but I will lose my mind... I'll tune in no matter what, but it sure is more fun when they have a chance to win ball games. Right now, it just feels like they don't, and playing the Cardinals doesn't help matters.
  17. I fully agree. EDIT: actually, I'd be all for a trade, but finding a trading partner would be next to impossible. This slump can't go on all season, it just can't. He needs to sit a few games, maybe 2 or 3 straight, then see what happens. Sitting him one game, only to pinch hit him in the one game he sits isn't the way to go about it. The players shouldn't be writing out the line-up. If the manager thinks he should take a game or two off, then that is what should happen. Time to man up and manage the team, not let players dictate how it should be managed.
  18. Makes me wonder if that was all Gomez, or he was told to bunt. Either way, it's just not a good decision.
  19. Wouldn't that be sweet? Would be a great start to the weekend, there is nothing better than beating the Cards!
  20. Not sure why you feel the need to taunt me. Whatever floats your boat I guess...
