  1. Kameron Loe - R - Brewers The Brewers are not expected to retain right-hander Kameron Loe this offseason. Jose Veras and Manny Parra are also considered non-tender candidates, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The Brewers' bullpen figures to look dramatically different next season. Francisco Rodriguez, who made $8 million in 2012, also won't be back. Source: Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Oct 27 - 3:21 PM -------------------------------------------------------------- Can I get an AMEN!?
  2. latest: Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports that the Brewers are "seriously considering a run" at impending free agent Josh Hamilton. Nice attendance figures the last few years has allowed Brewers owner Mark Attanasio to expand the payroll, which was just south of $100 million in 2012. While they were unable to re-sign CC Sabathia and Prince Fielder, Hamilton shouldn't require nearly as big of a contract. They also have an ace up their sleeve in hitting coach Johnny Narron, who was Hamilton's "life coach'' with the Rangers. The Brewers probably won't be able to compete if the bidding for Hamilton gets too crazy, but they could be players if the price is reasonable. CBSSports.com Oct 25 - 9:34 PM
  3. THAT would be GREAT! I don't want anymore variants or retros. They are pointless. The retro schtick has been done too much imo.
  4. Or Glenn Braggs...j/k
  5. Benji MORE than deserves a bobble, I hope you are right!
  6. #1 sure looks like Aoki. #2 could be George Scott or Hank Aaron. You can tell he is wearing a batting helmet due to the roundness of his hat, then you can see his ear, so it looks like the old style batting helmet with no ear flaps. Since you can see what looks like a big sideburn on the left side of his face, I'm going to go with George Scott. If they do a George Scott, I am going to be one happy camper!!!!!! #3 is Hart. Also, #5 has to be Gomez. Just looks like him. #6 is another polish sausage. #8 could be our manager... Big ol' ears. BOOOOOO! #9 could be Gorman with the long hair.
  7. If RR gets one, I'll throw up. If they do him, I'd like to see them do a series of every manager the Brewers have ever had. That would be kind of cool. 10 is TOOOOOOOO many. This is the kind of thing that will make people stop collecting them, just too many to keep up with, then there is the issue of displaying and storage. I happen to think 6 is too many, now they are upping it? It will be exciting as they announce them though...
  8. Would you love to see our ace lose in a big game suituation? So if, say, Aaron Rodgers played in the super bowl vs a crappy QB, you'd be rooting for the crappy QB because he was crappy?
  9. wow... all I can say is: wow.
  10. thebruce, Baiting, Condescending? You take this way to seriously. I'm going to bow out now because I am awesome.
  11. As long as we don't trade any of the guys you listed above for a #2 pitcher, I'm fine with bringing someone in, however, I'd prefer not to raid our farm system like we have been doing the past couple of years for a guy we only have for 2 years in the #2 spot.
  12. Dude scares me... I'd rather keep Peralta to be honest. At the cost it will take to get Lincecum, why waste 20 million plus a long term contract, when we have seen what Peralta can bring to the table. In my opinion, I'd rather not trade Peralta for a guy who fell off the cliff.
  13. What can Norris do that our youngsters can't? That is the question I keep asking myself when thinking of pitchers to trade for...
  14. GO Prince and the Tigers! Gotta root for the big guy, even though a small part of me doesn't like the fact that the year he left he is in the world series...
  15. Wow, you guys are touchy... Are you telling me there have not been countless posts on this site stating that Ramirez and his numbers will soon fall? Are you saying there have not been countless posts on this site saying that his contract was a mistake? I shared my opinion, just like you... If you are looking for an internet fight, it won't happen here. I'm glad we signed him, glad we didn't trade him, and am looking forward to the next 2 years of his time in Milwaukee.
  16. Loving this so far... I told myself I would not watch tonight, but I can't stop myself!
  17. I am an ARAMIS BELIEVER! I saw nothing to make me think he is ready to regress... The sky is not falling at 3B for once, and there still seem to be people out there that don't like the pick-up and trying to make themselves believe that he is going to suck during his time as a Brewer. Just enjoy people, just enjoy...
  18. 3 teams I LOVE to see lose: #1 Cardinals, my hatred for them grows each year. #2 Cowboys, I have always hated them, and I can't stand to even look at Jerry Jones's face. #3 Patriots, Just hate teams that have extended success. Can't stand their coach either.
  19. It hurts to say this: GO GIANTS!
  20. I can't imagine that starting Yo and another free agent vet once every 6 days would go over very well with them... Imagine a FA being asked to come and join a 6 man rotation? Our chances of signing anyone with that notion would be about zero percent. I applaud your creativity, but no way should we even consider this idea in the real world.
  21. Yeah, I don't think we need to argue about this... There are few better female rock voices than Pat Benatar. Like her music or not, her voice is stellar, flawless, and very powerful. Still is to this day. You can think what you want though, it is a free country.
  22. better voice than Pat Benatar? ummmm, ok then...
  23. A little pricey, but very cool! http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=13117903&partnerId=F295R121-P1U3
