No bobbles, but plan to use my cash winnings from my championship fantasy football season for the 2013 bobbles that are sure to come out this season.

    as a back-up, you can bet that our manager would look for ways to get him playing time though, even if that meant starting him to rest players, etc. If he got 2 starts a week, that is 2 too many. I just hope we are not in on him in any way, shape or form.

    According to MLBTradeRumors.com, free agent infielder Yuniesky Betancourt expects to land somewhere soon. "I can assure you that Yuni will be signing a major league contract," agent Alex Esteban told MLBTR. "Currently, there are four teams we are in conversations with and we expect to be finalizing a deal shortly after the holidays." Betancourt, 30, hit just .228/.256/.400 with seven homers and 36 RBI in 57 games this past season for the Royals.     IF Narveson starts this year, and that is a big IF, it will not be to open the season in the rotation, and if that is the case, that means some of our youngsters had a bad spring training.

    Yeah, must be nice to have that kind of money to throw around... I only had one issue on craigslist, but it sure taught me a good lesson, I don't trust people like I used to, so I have probably also lost some good deals because I'm just not willing to trust people anymore. On the flipside, I may have saved myself from being scammed again as well... I would never do business with the scammer from Mukwonago again, that is for sure... (If anyone wants his name and address, PM me, I'd hate for that to happen to anyone else from this board)

    I am in this camp. I hate the snow, and hate even more driving in it. I teach in a school district which is 30 minutes from where I live. That 30 minute drive can be pretty hazardous when we have snow storms. It isn't driving in the snow so much that bothers me, but dodging the idiots that have no sense when it comes to driving in snow. Especially the people with 4 x 4 vehicles think they are bullet proof. If everyone would slow down, leave for work a bit earlier, it wouldn't be so bad, but for some reason, people are unable to use common sense in the snow.

    I think you are right, and I bet the same seller puts it back up for auction again! Too bad there is nothing that can be done about this, but ebay just doesn't care enough to investigate to the full extent.

    Seems like a scam to me as well. There were two bidders, which pushed it that high. Probably the seller upping the price, so when he tries to sell again, the price might get higher legit. This is disgusting. Probably a bobble I will never own, oh well, no bobble is worth $600.

    What would be the reasoning behind telling the world who we are interested in? Seems like a dumb thing to do.

    Why would we move Hart back to RF? We have a RFer in Aoki. I'm not a fan of trading Hart, but I would think the only real possibility would be to trade Hart and move Morales into the 1B spot. Again, I'm not a fan of the move I am proposing, I'd rather leave things as they are with Hart at 1B and Aoki in RF.

    absolutely! It has worked both ways for me. There has been a lot of music I ran out and purchased after listening on spotify, and there has been music I listened to that I didn't like, therefore saving me the disappointment of buying it. I LOVE spotify!

    BB, Check out that Ugly Kid Joe I mentioned above. It is tremendous and an EP, so there are only 6 songs. I just can't quit playing it! Check it out on spotify if you use that first. That is how I found it, and after 2 or 3 plays, I went straight to amazon and ordered my copy.

    Old habits die hard. I bought albums right up until they became hard to find, and intend on buying cds as long as I can. Of course, now, vinyl has become cool again, so it isn't that difficult to find now-a-days. I'm talking about the 80's when cds first came out, and squeezed the production of albums until they were no longer being sold. The thought of purchasing music in digital format makes me uncomfortable. I like to own an actual copy of the music. I can then put it wherever I want, and in any format I want with the knowledge that I still own a copy of the actual cd if something goes wrong. That and I like the artwork, lyrics, etc...

    Counting on Narveson for anything other than long relief is not wise. He wasn't that special before he got hurt, now I see everyone counting on him as if he was a vital cog in our success before the injury. He is an average pitcher at best, and if our success hinges on a guy like him, we are in for a long season.

    1. Ugly Kid Joe - Stairway to Hell : Excellent hard rock release from a band I thought was dead and gone! 2. Lita Ford - Living Like a Runaway : From the moment I put this one in the cd player, this cd just stuck with me. I played it well over 100 times, just couldn't get enough. 3. Rush - Clockwork Angels : Another quality release from one of the best bands of all time! 4. Kiss - MONSTER! : I love everything these guys do. If you like hard ass kicking rock and roll, this cd is great! 5. Jackyl - Best in Show : Straight ahead rock and roll, infectious hooks... 6. Geoff Tate - Kings & Thieves : Nothing but quality here. Any fan of Queensryche will be happy after hearing this gem! 7. Van Halen - A Different Kind of Truth : Took me a while to catch onto this cd. After about 6 or 7 plays, it took. Great disc!
