That is wacky to say the least... I teach high school, and we don't do anything like that. The kids get what they earn, no adjusting. Also, even the A+ scale is kooky. We run a straight 4.0 scale, but there are some weird ideas about grade points out there...

I've toyed with the idea of collecting all the MLB and/or Minor league mascots, some really neat ones out there, but I just don't have the space to put them. I am almost maxed out right now on my display space, so adding a new category just can't happen...lol -
I've done pretty well with sticking with only Brewers and Brewers Minor league SGAs. ( I also have a very small collection of Tampa Bay Bucs bobbles, but they rarely put out an SGA, so I pretty much only have their super bowl champions bobbles from super bowl XXXVII) Every once in a while, something else will catch my eye, but I have less than 20 bobbles that are not affiliated with the Brewers or Bucs some how. I am missing only one Brewers related SGA, the phantom Nashville "George Plaster!" I seriously don't think I will ever find one...

I am one who is hoping for no retro/alternate/variants this season. With 10 to collect, plus the stitch-n-pitch, that should be plenty. Add that on to the minor league bobbles, and we are talking probably another 20+ new ones to collect... If there are this many every year, display and storage become an issue, so I may be in the minority, but I think that fewer is better...

It's always funny to me how great the paintjobs are on the "just released" photos of the bobbles, then when we get to the game and take them out of the box, the paint jobs are usually pretty bad.

It would only be worth what you can get someone to pay for it... Can you really see anyone shelling out $50 for Crabtree's glove? Maybe an uber-fan would, but I just can't see it.

You really can't go wrong with yahoo. I have a yahoo league that has been running for 8 years. The draft is always smooth, and the stats, standings etc are always on time. It is also very easy to use, and you can customize your league to fit your needs. No complaints with yahoo at all!

I have to ask, did you have your bag locked up to begin with? If not, in a public place, you are just asking for problems. I know it's a pain to have to lock everything up, but that is the world we live in. Your situation does suck... At least they didn't take and use your credit cards...

The corners aren't clipped, they are blackened. I am not familiar with this year of cards, but either the black rounded corners are factory, or they were blackened with a marker. Look closely, the corners are there, but they are black. -

Actually, the last few that sold, were sold for these prices on ebay: Oct. 26th $26.99 Nov. 23rd $37.00 Dec. 14th $39.99 Dec. 23rd $39.99 I know one sold about 6 months ago for $19.99, and only drew one bid, but at that time, I didn't feel the need to own one. (a guy I work with bought it, which is why I am certain of the cost) They may have had a higher market a couple years ago, but none of the recent sales have been even close to $100. Seems like somewhere in the thirties is where they sell now...
