    If Suppan hits a homer at any point today, the Phillies may just walk off the field and say see you in game 5! My understanding has always been that this is exactly the sort of game Suppan was brought over for, so let's see him do his thing. My mom came to town on the train yesteday and delivered to me my JJ Hardy bobble head that my brother picked up for me at the MP give away a few weeks ago. Hardy had a great day because his bobble was on my coffee table watching the game with me, I'm convinced. So, today I'm gonna put all the players I've got out there.

    BrewBomber, did you just compare some of us to Cubs fans? That's pretty low. : ) But seriously, I'm torn on the booing/negativity issue. I'm a pretty negative person, but at the same time it is just a game. Still, being positive just to be positive, if you do that then why do you even watch the team. Just go be happy. So, if the team I'm investing my time in plays poorly, I can understand the desire to boo.

    Maybe they are saying Boo-urns. I'm sad about the Brewers, maybe beer will help.

    This is only sort of true. In 15 innings they have 2 runs. A team that scored runs could have those 2 innings, and it could still be a different series. So, you've got to add in at least the first inning tonight, and probably the 6th and 9th yesterday when they couldn't get it done offensively. And, then, somehow account for a team that is built around offense not scoring runs. Really, I'm not trying to be negative, I'm honestly just confused by this team.

    Am I alone in thinking: I sort of expected the Brewers to lose (I hoped they'd win behind CC, and I know it's not over), but I expected them to lose. And, really, all I wanted was for it not to be ugly. All the people who know I'm a Brewers fan (I live out east) tomorrow now will give me that look that says, man your team sucked last night. And I work side by side with a Red Sox fan and a Phillies fan. So, I just wanted the Brewers to look respectable. Yesterday I really thought they did minus 1 inning, but right now, this is just ugly. Yeah, a baserunner.

    I feel worse now then when I thought they weren't going to make the playoffs.

    I'm still pumped up just because it's a playoff game. Even after watching one I'm still sort of in disbelief that it's really happening. They can win this game today, just gotta get some runners on and in and CC should do his part.
