  1. I could see the Heyman stable being Punk, Lesnar, Ziggler, Cesaro and Vicki; and the McMahon stable being Cena, Ryback, Gabriel, AJ or something like it. I think it'd be kind of cool myself as long as it doesn't get too big.
  2. I think they did the best they could under the circumstances. The finish doesn't bother me that much. Ryback still looks like an unstoppable machine. Punk still retains the title. And they didn't need Lesnar to do it, although I was hoping they would. The storyline has advanced nicely, in my opinion. I am wondering if this will now begin some kind of Heyman stable vs. a McMahon stable.
  3. Yeah, the "I'm the tag team champions" bit has jumped the shark. It's time to move on from that. But Kane's comment about thinking Larry King was skeletor was hilarious. I laughed out loud at that one.
  4. Regardless, I thought that last segment was the best we'd seen in a long while. It had attitude. Ryback's pop was huge. I've got to believe Punk will "choose" Cena to be his HIAC opponent. And I believe that's how it should be, because this way Ryback continues with his huge push without getting crushed by losing to Punk. Am I the only one who feels like they're setting up a potential Punk/Austin confrontation? I think that'd be awesome.
  5. I'm not a big fan of Cole, but King has gotten so bad that he's really hard to listen to. I'd rather see him get replaced than Cole. I wouldn't mind JBL coming back and taking that spot. I actually would like to see heel King come back. He was best in that role.
  6. I was there. The dark match I assume you're referring to is the one that happened after Raw went off the air. Cena was hanging around. Then the Big Show came out. He stepped in the ring, then stepped out and said we didn't deserve to watch him compete. He walked back up the ramp, Cena chased him and the match was on. It was full of typical Cena/Show match spots. Cena got choke slammed by Show but kicked out. Cena eventually AA'd Show and pinned him. It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either.
  7. As far as I know, Crawford's ACL is fine. He had Tommy John surgery. So he still has his most important tool.
  8. This potential trade feels about as close to a "video game" trade you're ever going to see in real life MLB.
  9. Gordon Edes is claiming it's pretty much a done deal. It's not Just Gonzalez & Beckett either. Carl Crawford and Nick Punto are included. http://espn.go.com/boston/mlb/story/_/id/8300112/adrian-gonzalez-carl-crawford-josh-beckett-nearing-boston-red-sox-exit-sources-say
  10. 9.8/10 Wish I could take credit for that one. Credit goes to trwi7. Well played, sir.
  11. It's interesting that last week a San Francisco Giant was suspended for PED's. A week later an Oakland A was suspended. Considering the proximity of these two teams, could these bans be more than just a coincidence? Not saying it is or isn't, but it's interesting to note nonetheless.
  12. As of this moment, Randy Wolf is the number 1 trending topic on twitter. Unbelievable. Edit: Nevermind. He was number 1 in my "tailored trends." I thought that was too unbelievable to be true.
  13. Talk about ironic. I thought it was rich that they were booing Braun mercilessly in light of cheering for Barry Bonds. Giant fans should never be able to boo another opposing player again.
  14. I pretty much have all the mini blues on sale on eBay. They all have the plastic and the boxes are in great shape. http://www.ebay.com/sch/koz2323/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
  15. A few months ago I composed a post asking if anyone was interested in my bobbles. I now have all of them posted on eBay. If you're interested take a look. Or, if you know anyone who's interested, please pass the link along. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/koz2323/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg= Thanks! Chris
  16. I've been a huge fan of Ziggler for a while now. He's great on the mic, he's one of the most talented wrestlers in the business, and like Dnye said, he is one of the best at taking a fall and selling an opponent's move. I think he's at the point where he can be on his own, without Vicki G.
  17. I've had Directv for 4 years now. I've had a good experience with it. I started with Dish and in my opinion, Directv blows Dish out of the water. I only have issues with the signal when big storms come through. It's fine for me during normal rain showers etc.
  18. I just have a hard time believing that Dillard is somehow better than McClendon. In all reality they both aren't good. But there has to be a better option in the minors somewhere. This to me also shows how much better it'd be to have Estrada in the pen going forward. I'd have no problem keeping Thonrburg in the rotation, but again that's highly unlikely.
  19. I realize that this is putting the cart way ahead of the horse, but if Marcum's injury is significant, does this make resigning Greinke an even higher priority?
  20. Nice. I play in Janesville Monday nights.
  21. Yeah, if this were in the Janesville/Delavan area I'd be all over it too.
  22. I have difficulty believing it was Milwaukee. From what I can see he's never played an inning at SS in his career.
  23. I'd take a shot on Lind. He's still only 28. Perhaps a change of scenery will help him. He's definitely got more potential than Ishikawa. What are the salary implications of claiming him?
  24. I'm looking to sell the following Bobbles. They are all in mint condition, never displayed or taken out of the box. Box's are in good condition. I'll sell as a set or individually. It doesn't matter to me. 2007 SGA 82 Brewers Mini's: I have the entire set in pinstripe. I have extra pinstripe bobbles of Ben Ogilvie, Mike Caldwell, Cecil Cooper and Don Sutton. I have blues of Charlie Moore, Paul Molitor, Cecil Cooper, Robin Yount, Ted Simmons, and Gorman Thomas. I'm asking $10 for the pinstripes, $20 for the blues. I also have two Yovani Gallardo Beloit Snapper bobbles. On one of the two the Pepsi plaque is broken off. That's how it came. I'd imagine super glue would do the trick on that. I'm asking $30 for the good one, $25 for the defected one. I have a 2004 full size Jim Gantner. I'm asking $30 for that. Like I said, I'll sell as a set or individually. You can respond to this or PM me.
  25. I'm just looking for an approximate range of prices for the following: The entire set of 2007 SGA Bobbles. That includes blues of Cooper, Molitor, Moore, Yount, Simmons, and Thomas. The '04 Gantner full size bobble The '08 Braun bobble The '08 Prince bobble with the crown on the head Two '08 Yovani Gallardo Beloit Snapper bobbles The '08 Barrel Man Bobble The '09 Braun Bobble mimicking his run around the bases in game 162 The '09 Bratwurst bobble.
