  1. I will be in 234 row 14.
  2. I will be there. I don't have the tickets, my friend does. But I'm assuming I will be in the left field bleachers.
  3. Tonight's Lineup Morgan CF Kotsay RF Braun LF Fielder 1B Weeks 2B Hairston 3B Betancourt SS Kottaras C Wolf SP
  4. Hopefully this will give Wolf some good mojo for tonight.
  5. I started the Insanity workout last Monday and have followed the nutrition plan pretty closely. I did deviate from it as a result of attending the Brewer game last Friday. But in one week I lost 5 pounds doing this workout. Just last night I started going on my elliptical for 20 minutes during the evening in addition. I feel much more energetic already.
  6. Done. I hope to see Braun or someone on the team run around the bases like that today.
  7. About the obscured face thing: last season someone I know dressed up in one of those neon colored body suits. They had their faces covered while tailgating, but once they got into the stadium they were told to uncover their faces. When they got to their seats the usher told them that if they covered their faces at all they'd be kicked out. They asked why. The reason they were given was that either earlier in the year or during the previous season a female was assaulted by someone whose face was completely covered. And because the face was covered they couldn't identify who did it. So I can understand the reasoning behind not allowing people to cover their faces/heads at games.
  8. I'm not singling you out Bruce. I have read numerous comments on twitter, blogs, etc., about how the Brewers game can't be played when the Packers play. Like Patrick points out, the current slot times for Sunday's games--according to TBS's program schedule--would put the start of the Brewers game at the end of the Packers game at the earliest. I'm just hoping that the league/networks keep those time slots. I have tickets for Sunday's game and couldn't make it if it started at Noon or 1 pm. I'm a little on edge because earlier this morning I saw tweets about Yahoo sports reporting that Sunday's Brewers game would be at noon. I have a hard time believing that. If there were four MLB games Sunday that'd make sense. But it doesn't if there's only two. MLB wouldn't put up their two playoff games to compete against the slew of NFL games being played at Noon - 6 pm.
  9. I'm a big Packer fan. Have been for 20 years. But attempting to schedule a Brewers playoff game around the 4th game of the Packers season--against a below average Bronco's team--seems to be over accommodating. I can understand trying to avoid the Wisconsin/Nebraska match-up because it is huge. And yet, in 2008 the Brewers played at the same time as the Wisconsin/Ohio State game in Madison. I realize that there are many people in Wisconsin who live for the Packers and could care less about the Brewers. But we're talking about a playoff game vs. 1 of 12 remaining regular season games for the Packers. Rant over.
  10. If you look at TBS's schedule, they have the first game starting on Saturday at 12 ET. The first game for Sunday they have starting at 5 PM ET.
  11. I'll be there tonight (Friday) in section 207.

  15. The Brewers definitely face a challenge with Hamels, Halladay, Lee, and Worley pitching this series. Word is that Chase Utley is not on the team flight though because of concussion concerns after being hit in the head with a pitch. Could be a big loss for them this series. And if we've seen anything with Justin Morneau and Denard Span, something like that could keep him out a while, if not the whole year. So what are your expectations for this series?
  16. He put Green in the lineup tonight at 2B and has him batting 6th. He dropped Yuni to 7th. At least he's showing some willingness to tinker. Last nights bottom of the order, aside from Lucroy, was bad.

  18. I'm seriously considering wearing my cowboy hat to the Brewer game this Friday night. Who's with me?
  19. I don't understand the rush to play Yuni so soon after the elbow of his throwing arm got drilled. Do they really feel he's that important to this teams success? Just give him a couple days off. Heck, give him a couple weeks.

  21. Perhaps they realized that, and that's why at the end of the show they said it'd be Punk vs. HHH. It's awkward to even watch Nash walk to the ring. Can't imagine what he'd look like wrestling.

  24. That is just awesome. And it's awesome the production crew didn't shy away from showing it either.
  25. I'm not thrilled that Betancourt is our starting shortstop. I was wanting him to be replaced all along. But saying "just last night he tried his hardest to lose the game" is over the top. He isn't trying to lose games. It just so happens he's not very good at baseball and his mistakes can end up costing the Brewers games. Last night, however, his mistake didn't cost the Brewers the game. They ended up winning. So perhaps you can say the Brewers are winning "in spite" of him. I understand your frustration with Betancourt. I feel it myself. But there has to be a modicum of sensibility when talking about the players and team we cheer.
