  1. This is my thoughts on it as well. Frustrating. I don't really understand, why is this a big deal?
  2. This is the second time in three games they were tied at 4 and the Brewers put up a 6 spot in the 8th.
  3. It's kind of funny that the Brewers scheduled '70s weekend against the Diamondbacks and '80s weekend against the Rockies, two teams that didn't exist in either decade.
  4. Here's a very good breakdown of the whole Strickland/Harper situation:
  5. I had to throw my bag of peanuts away, they would not let me through. That was in May, if that matters. It does matter, they starting allowing carry-in food on 6/1.
  6. JBJ ready to rake in June *fingers crossed*. His career OPS numbers by month... March/April -- .610 May -- .712 June -- .810 July -- .702 Aug -- .767 Sept/Oct -- .717 June 2021 OPS for JBJ currently sitting at 5.000
  7. This isn't a jersey, but 47 Brand has a really cool jacket in that style and it's currently 50% off: https://www.47brand.com/products/milwaukee-brewers-cooperstown-heritage-iconic-trac
  8. MLB really needs to have a live feed with the umpires in NY mic'd up so we can hear everything they're telling the umpires on the field. The XFL reboot did that and it was one of the best things about that league.
  9. Really sad after how great he was in his first few seasons that Counsell has become Ned Yost when it comes to bullpen management.

  11. I saw that's now an option in the Ballpark app. I'm...intrigued. My attended games go back to 1983 and I think I'd enjoy seeing the stats (compiled automatically and not by my hand). If you have a list of games you attended, or are a hoarder like me and kept all your ticket stubs, you should do it, it's a fun little project. They made it easy to add games, you just need to enter the year and the teams and it will list the games they played to choose from. I know you have a 20 game pack, so I'm sure it will take you longer than it took me, but it's fun to reminisce. My first game was as a 7 year old in 1988 against the Yankees. Going through all my stubs I was reminded of games I had completely forgotten about.
  12. It feels weird to see Jenkins name in the same lineup as Fielder, Weeks, Hardy, Hall and Hart. It feels like two different eras of Brewers baseball.
  13. I've been using the MLB Ballpark app to check-in to games I've attended the past few years. As someone who saved all of my ticket stubs over the years, I finally went through them and entered all the games I attended before the app existed. Now I have a full list of all the MLB games I've ever attended with links to the box scores. It also keeps stats for you, so I know that the Brewers are 76-70 in games I've attended, and they are 14-5 vs the Cubs and 9-4 against the Cardinals, who are the two opposing teams I've seen the most. What a great feature of the app, it makes me want to attend more games and add to my stats.
  14. Please tell me Narvaez isn't hurt. Otherwise, I don't understand why you'd sit our hottest hitter after an off day who hits lefty going against the Cubs ace right hander.
  15. MLB seems to realize this is a problem: https://www.fiercevideo.com/tech/mlb-to-rsns-it-s-time-to-think-dtc Just give me the option to pay extra and get my local team in MLB.TV and I would subscribe every season, especially now that MLB.TV is integrated with YouTube TV.
  16. He has the second highest career OBP on the team behind Yelich. He got judged way too harshly on 60 games.
  17. The issue is they're making it more difficult to watch games when they should be doing everything they can it make it easier to watch games. I would happily buy MLB.TV on a yearly basis if I could watch Brewer games on it. What I won't do is drop a service I love in YoutubeTV for a much more expensive and much worse product in cable. Heck, YoutubeTV has MLB.TV integrated into this season, they had a free preview in spring training, it was great, each team has a separate feed that's listed right with all the other channels. If the Brewers were included I'd happily plunk down the cash.
  18. It's because they're playing the Twins and due to the balanced interleague schedule can't play a four-game series.
  19. Right now I have a hidden power cord to my TV. That's it. I stream everything wirelessly through the TV apps - Netflix, Amazon, etc. And previously YTTV where I watched Brewers and Bucks. With cable I'd have to get a box with additional wires and find a place to put it. I like the minimalist approach. And that's in addition to terrible customer service experiences over my life with cable companies. This, plus with YTTV I have unlimited cloud DVR. I just subscribe to a show and I get all the episodes recorded for me. No worrying about storage space and deleting a show in order to record a new one. I can watch them when I have time to get to them. YTTV is simply a much better product than cable.
