  1. This is the coverage map for tonight's game. Basically all the NL Central cities except St. Louis are getting it, rest of the country getting Astros and Yankees. https://506sports.com/mlb.php?yr=2023&wk=17
  2. Jake from Jomboy broke the news:
  3. Not sure who the bigger clowns are, Mikolas, Marmol or the Cardinal announcers who fully admitted they hit him on purpose by saying he "did the job the right way" and then become whiny babies when Mikolas is ejected seconds later. That whole organization is trash.
  4. Interesting that due to the home and home with the Twins those two teams get a five day All Star Break.
  5. '47, (my favorite sports apparel brand, their stuff is expensive, but quality), has a blue one with yellow script: https://www.47brand.com/collections/milwaukee-brewers/products/milwaukee-brewers-crosstown-basic-47-hitch
  6. Just announced, 2025 Draft will be in Green Bay.
  7. I don't think people realize how bad Rodgers was last season, he finished 26th overall in QBR. He finished behind Matt Ryan who was so bad the 4-12-1 Colts benched him. If Love is just an average QB they likely match their win total from last season.
  8. Career .886 OPS vs LHP. If he does well guessing this means Voit isn't long for the roster.
  9. I disagree with this, the beauty of baseball is the series. Why spend the money to travel to one game when you can travel and see multiple? I've traveled to numerous cities to see the Brewers on the road, always taking in multiple games. It's summer so the weather is nice, the tickets are the cheapest of any sport, and the different ballparks are fun and unique. Baseball is the best sport for travelling.
  10. Sergio Romo signed a contract to retire with the Giants and pitch one last game, their last exhibition game against the A's in San Francisco. He wore a special hat for the occasion, pretty cool idea, I'm sure it made each kid's day too.
  11. That's not true, Jimmy G has signed with the Raiders and the Jets lost Mike White to the Dolphins, so they're running out of options beyond Rodgers.
  12. The Brewers have been using a 6-man rotation for years now anyway. With Ashby out I'm guessing it'll be Burnes, Woodruff, Peralta, Lauer, Miley and Houser as the swingman who goes to the bullpen occasionally as off days allow to keep the other five on five days rest. With Ashby's injury, if he comes back in a couple of months they're likely going to be careful with his innings, so unless there's an injury or someone struggling he'll probably settle into the Houser role.
  13. No, you can't. If you're out of market you can do MLB.TV. In market you could get the games on Youtube TV back when it was FS Wisconsin, but once greedy Sinclair bought it and rebranded to Bally's they jacked the prices up and all the streaming services dropped them, Youtube included. Youtube did get NFL Sunday Ticket starting this year, so that'll cause another small uptick in cord cutting of people who only had DirecTV for that.
  14. Youtube TV is half the price of cable and a much better product, why would I ever pay for cable? Cable is dinosaur that's slowly dying. As of March 2021, only 56% of Americans have cable or satellite, the majority of which are people over 50. Only 34% of people ages 18-29 and 46% of people ages 30-49 have it, and I'm sure those numbers have gone down in the last two years. A sure fire way of not expanding your fan base to the younger generation is to only have it available on a platform few young people use. Once the kids and teens of today who've only grown up with streaming become adults those numbers are going to drop even further.
  15. Bally grossly overpaid for the RSNs at a time when most people were cutting the cord. Then they overpriced them so much to cause all the streaming services that carried the channels to drop them, so they could introduce their own streaming service for $20/month, which doesn't seem to be going too well for them. The RSN model is dying, and Bally Sports going under would speed that up. The RSN model going away would help small market teams with a league wide TV deal as well as fans being able to see the games without the dumb blackout rules. Hey MLB, if you just give me access to Brewers games on MLB.TV I'd happily fork over the money every year to see all games. This shouldn't be that difficult.
  16. The original Night Court took awhile to get its footing though too. The first few seasons were a bit rough and they went through a ton of cast changes before solidifying the cast, only Harry Anderson, John Larroquette and Richard Moll were on from start. I agree it didn't knock my socks off, but I liked it enough to keep giving it a chance for the cast and the writing to find their footing. Speaking of reboots, I really liked That '90s Show, it really felt like a continuation of the original. Red and Kitty were great as always and the cameos from the original cast were all pretty good. It took the new kids a few episodes to find their chemistry, but if you liked the original you'll probably like the reboot.
  17. How are you doing it? A vlookup should work for what you're trying to do.
  18. Macho and Eddie never won a Rumble. It's Benoit, Big John Studd and Yokozuna.
  19. The email they sent to subscribers specifically said they're preserving the $65 price. Plus they're honoring the $15 discount for everyone on their next bill even though the channels were only gone for a day and a half.
  20. I wasn't going to switch to Hulu and give Disney my money. Hulu has the same price for the same content as yttv. this was a powerplay by Disney to try to switch people over to their steaming platform and I'm guessing (all my opinion) that it didn't work out. yttv is getting back all the Disney content at the same price point. I hope like me, most of the other yt subscribers held firm and didn't cancel. And Hulu's price is going up $5 a month, plus you have to pay an extra $10 a month for unlimited DVR, which is included in the $65 plan on YTTV. Very glad a deal was made, YTTV is a much better product for less money.
  21. If you want some free content to stream, check out the Pluto TV app. There are a ton of channels on there with a lot of old shows. My favorite is an entire channel that plays nothing but old episodes of Price is Right hosted by Bob Barker 24/7.
  22. https://nypost.com/2021/10/17/mlb-in-talks-to-launch-nationwide-streaming-service-for-home-games/ MLB is considering their own streaming service for in-market games. This could be the thing that finally kills the antiquated RSN model, especially if the NBA and NHL partner with them.
  23. Sinclair is partnering with Bally's to rebrand the RSNs from Fox to Bally's. They're planning on integrating sports betting into the programming and selling them as their own standalone app. If that happens, I'm guessing that's either the end of the RSNs on the other streaming platforms or they're offered as a paid sports tier add-on.
  24. They announced late last night a temporary extension while they continue to negotiate a long term deal.
  25. Extremely friendly. Best part is you just subscribe to a team and it records every game for you, regardless of time or channel, so any nationally televised games on ESPN, FOX, TNT, FS1, etc. are automatically recorded as well. It also accounts for long games and records the entire thing, so if the Brewers go 15 innings it will record the entire game for you, not just the three-hour window the game was earmarked for.
