I think Escy has a lot more pop than most people think. He hits most balls hard. Not saying he has a ton of HR power, but it will be interesting to see how much more he gains when he weighs more than 150 lbs

Take away that E-5 in the 1st and a missed strike call when Zaun was impersonating Rube and his pitch count would be in really good shape. I agree with what you are saying though

Agreed. I really thought he should have at least come up with that ball, if not get the out. Hopefully he will make up for it with his bat like he usually does when he has a defensive miscue

I really, really wish Prince would shorten up a bit until he finds his stroke. He is over swinging for a guy that obviously isn't seeing it very well right now

Right in the zone. Not really borderline at all. The ump has been really inconsistent. Not sure if it has gone against us like it did early. Have not been watching the game to closely anymore.Thats what I thought. Sure looked good to me. I haven't been watching all that closely either. Its kind of like the sun - hurts to look directly at it. I keep hearing loud cracks of the bat when the Cubs are batting though

I'm going to somehow try to say positive things...eventhough he is towards the end of his career, I still thoroughly enjoy watching Edmonds play defense. He gets unbelievable jumps on the ball
