Can they please just take Weeks off the homerun leader board? It's just depressing -
I am on the opposite end of the spectrum. I was born and raised in Milwaukee until age 8 at which time I moved to Eau Claire, where I was astounded to find the majority of people were Twins fans. I even asked my dad if we still lived in Wisconsin. I couldn't stand it! This experience has caused me to hate the Twins more than I hate the Cubs and Cards combined.

Will Bill Hall ever make adjustments?

I agree with what you guys are saying twobrewers and PEM, but at the same time I respect Macha for giving Hall a chance to prove he can be the everyday 3rd baseman with an understanding of his past success, contract and lack of other viable options to begin the season. He stayed true to his word of what he told Billy at the outset, and now that Billy has really started to struggle he sat him down and talked to him about "what" is going to happen if he doesn't show him that he can be respectable against RHP and soon. And that "what" is about to happen - a platoon where Hall starts at 3rd vs LHP and Gamel see's the majority of the starts agains RHP, which is the majority because we don't see that many LHP. And that I can respect. I don't blame Macha for giving Hall a chance to prove himself because if he did we would be a better team for it. But he failed, and now we get to see what Mat is all about and I am excited! -
Any chance this means more than just a platoon?I would think it will be just that - a platoon. And I think its a good thing. Hall has been solid all year defensively and we all know he typically rakes against lefties, although he is just plain lost right now. And that means Gamel will get the majority of the playing time because we really don't face that many LHP

BTW, my McClung shirt is now 8-0! Huge play by Kendall. Amazing to think he can fire out of the crouch that fast after thousands on innings catching. And kudos to McClung - that was a huge spot!

Agreed. That was a tough spot for him and he got 2 ground balls and he isn't much of a ground ball pitcher

At least it's good to see Cam ripping the ball again. I sure hope we have some magic left because we are getting way too many hits to have one run in this game. And Hall needs to take a seat on the bench pronto. As in right now. And I am one of his biggest supporters on here
