  1. Yea, I was silently pumping fists with another gal in the computer lab here at work.
  2. Here is a great video. I was laughing, cheering, and crying all at the same time.
  3. What if the Bucks drafted Grant Hill/Jason Kidd? What if the Bucks drafted Chris Paul? What if Bucks drafted B. Lopez? Same idea, but with Barry Sanders and the Packers. And I hope this doesn't come off bad or insulting, but how many professional athletes are gay? And who? I'm just curious here, that is all.
  4. Khris Davis is much, much thicker then I thought. I need to catch a T-Rats game this year.
  5. Komatsu with two walks inhis first two at bats. That's all I'll say about that game right now.
  6. If you can get me Martin Perez, I do those deals. Definitely one of the more realistic proposals I have seen.
  7. Yea baby Brewers! With all the college guys down there, maybe we should call them the Bearded Baby Brewers?
  8. Just saw the Portugal highlights. Pretty, pretty, pretty nice.
  9. Yea, he is a freakin' hitter. He likes to hit. It's amazing his line is where it is with all the crap opposing pitchers throw him.
  10. I love baseball reference. http://www.baseball-refer...tion-batting.shtml?redir Some interesting lines... Catcher: Nothing (c'mon Javier, Roberts, and Neda) Infield: Lawrie has 15 steals in 23 tries. That's 65%. Not too shabby. I would expect his acumen on the bases to increase as his career progresses. He is not all that far off the magical 75% number. Wheeler is sporting a .381 OBP with 35 BB's and 29 K's. He is 23 years old. Considering it was a wrist injury, I'm pretty pleased with how Taylor Green has been hitting thus far. He will only get stronger as the year goes on. Josh Prince has one of the worst lines in the system. Angel Salome can really hit. He has a beautiful line through 17 games. .271/.364/.521 is fantastic. Shawn Zarraga needs to find a position, because he seems to have some nice hitting chops as well. .388 OBP so far as a 21 year old for Shawn. Hitaniel Arias is raking through 17 games in the DSL. His line is .293/.423/.483 with a 9:20 BB:K. He is still only 19. Outfield: Oeltjen is sneaky. His line has steadily improved since I last checked it sometime in May. Chuckie Caufield is having his best season. He is 26 years old now. Wow. Lee Haydel has started to take some walks. Still, I'm not sure if it will be enough. I bet the Giants think Lee Haydel is a nice prospect. Still waiting for that week long hot streak for Caleb Gindl. Still, this is the first true stumble for this kid. Caleb is 21 years old. Lorenzo Cain is Michael Brantley with major league power. He K's more, but I'll take the power any day. He is sitting at .320/.409/.432 with 12 EXBH and 17 SB's. There is much more power potential in there too. Erik Komatsu has played at least 9 games at each OF position. He is also posting a superb line considering where his team plays. .396 OBP with 17 SB's. Erik is 22 years old. Kentrail Davis has his OBP back over .400. Getting hit by 13 pitches helps. D'Vontrey Richardson has walked 26 times this year. Idk about anyone else, but that is way more then I was expecting for such a raw talent. D'Vo is 21. Khristopher Davis has a beautiful BA/BA+100/BA+200 line (.292/.389/.483). Good luck at the derby! Khris is 22. Jose Pena is having a fine season in the DSL for a rookie. His line sits at .250/.370/.417 with an 11:18 BB:K. Jose is 17. I might do something similar for the pitchers later on.
  11. Throw in Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, and Nick Collins and we might have a deal!
  12. I miss the days when Jack Z. and Seid were on the same side.
  13. Take out Rogers for sure. He could very well turn into the best pitcher in that group.
  14. Well, his player page hasn't updated quite yet, but after tonight his OPS is around 1.500 over his last 10 games. He had a steal tonight too. To those that don't know yet, Brett Lawrie is our next mega-prospect. It is amazing what he is doing at 20.
  15. WI just busted the game open. Gennett, Garfield, and Ke. Davis added a double each to the onslaught. 7-0 now.
  16. Trwi, he has been in base a few times and scored twice. Not exactly a bad 0/4.
  17. Holy Huntsville offense! Lawrie, Cain, Wilson, Wheeler, everyone! Plus Butler is having his best outing so far. And Kyle Heckathorne? Who knew... Richardson just keeps creeping that overall line up. Gennett keeps hitting. Edit: BC too! Komatsu, Kjeldgaard, Kreiger twice, with bombs. Salome with a couple hits. Great night so far.
  18. Heckathorne turns 22 today. Do we really want him to start his age 23/24 season at AA? I say bump him to BC at The AS break. Then he can hopefully start next year (age 22/23) in H'ville.
  19. Salome with a bomb. Hunter Morris with a RBI in his first ab. Dykstra with continued success. Lawrie is 2-2. Peralta got a win with a decent start. Lots of good stuff going on tonight in the minors.
  20. Holy crap, I die not realize the great year that Nick Franklin was having. I'm pretty sure he was a couple picks after Arnett. 13 bombs from the leadoff spot for Nick. Looks like another great Jack Z. inspired draft pick.
  21. Velocity impoved to low to mid-90's??? That would make sense giving how gigantic this kid is.
  22. I have never seen Maas Haas so depressed. I feel your pain too, man. It hurts worse when you follow a guy for soooo long (Salome), or when it's a guy coming off a POY for the org. (Schafer), or a supposed fast track college guy who gets demoted to EST (Arnett). It's amazing that all three have happened to us. Let's see what these draft picks can do!
  23. D'Vo has a .380 OBP in his last 10 games. He hasn't done much else, but the rest will come, maybe very soon.
  24. Ok, here's a question, what the heck is the difference between John Bivens and Johnny Dishon? And why did they go 30 rounds apart? They are the same size, same scouting report, same big school pedigree (Bivens finished at a smaller school). The MLB draft is so freaking weird, but I love it. No other sport requires such thourough scouting.
  25. Haha, thanks CJ! I wonder if he's pegged for Helena being a college guy? Speed, power, arm? Sounds great! This comes totally without concrete evidence, but the Brewers seem to be very good at determining signability and price. Ross, Dishon, and Hawn all had other pretty solid options, but the Brewers got them in the fold quick. Forgive me, but when do we find out what the bonuses ended up being?
