  1. that was the first truly bad send by sedar imo. Mcg just has no chance there, and for some reason really shied from contact.
  2. Braun hits the ball hard every ab. Thought it was gone (even sounded like it) but I'll take it.
  3. Good lord...I just did a full detail of my sisters car yesterday because I'm gonna be bringing it to Milwaukee Wednesday to sell it thru the auction. MONEY AND TIME WELL SPENT!
  4. kotsay and counsell have good career numbers against hernandez...i would have saved them for game 2. should be fun watching weeks and gomez swing out of their shoes trying to hit the eephus 500 ft.
  5. This would be very interesting if Weeks shows any plate patience at all in his ab.
  6. Marquis' stuff looks terrible today. Hitting a lot of linedrives foul, unfortunately.
  7. At least he's batting 8th. He really needs to stop bunting though. He's not good at it and it's getting him behind in the count in almost every AB. Yo's fb command looked good in the 1st. His offspeed stuff didn't look great. With a double header, I'd like to see him throw mostly fb's and try to pitch to contact.
  8. Yeah coshun is fine in my book. At least he can tell the difference between a routine fly ball and a deep one.
  9. Honestly, I thought he looked cooked back in 2008 with San Fran. I can't believe he's still playing. At least there's this.... Edit: have no idea why yuku isn't letting me embed... here's a link to Omar singing Broadway by The Goo Goo Dolls.
  10. yeah, that was great. I also liked how it wasn't actually Ron pulling out his real tooth...whereas if dwight on the office would have down something similar, it def would have. I'm about two minutes into this weeks office episode and the cold open with carrell and ferrell in the bar is soo predictable and stupid. As much as it pains me to say it, it seems pretty clear that Schur was the talent behind the office. He took the hilariousness right with him to parks and rec.
  11. i've seen other teams do it. he's figuring anything hit out of the infield is probably going to get werth home....so don't let it out of the infield. i actually like it, just don't like playing mcgehee so far off of third. That's what I don't get. If you're gonna have five infielders, shouldn't that allow you to play McG closer to the bag, holding Werth on?
  12. WTH was with with the five infielders...do other teams do that or is that RRR managing with his gut?
  13. yep. Unfortunate that a former pitcher is playing cf, otherwise he's prob safe. Thank god Rickie crossed before tho.
  14. Bush did not take that no hitter into the 9th inning, Brian. I'm 99% sure at least.
  15. Bump for new episode from last night. I think that was probably my favorite episode of the series. Not a weak spot the whole episode. Plus, Jean Ralpio.
  16. Well I think the real reason we went to the playoffs last year was Salmons came aboard for the last 30 games and played at a Dwayne Wade level. As someone else pointed out, Jennings was pretty poor after that first 10-15 game hot streak. Also a big part of that team's success was having Ridnour being able to close out games when Jennings was trash. Like I said, I'm fine with giving Jennings another shot this year. TBH he probably shouldn't have even played after this foot injury. In true Bucks fashion, they rushed him back about 40-50 days early. And it's not like the Bucks are on the cusp of contending and need to replace him with a solid veteran. But right now, I'd say he's below avg at everything besides defense. He's def a bottom 5 starting pg right now.
  17. Nice reply, homer. If you disagree, mind sharing your opinion on what he does at even an avg clip for a starting NBA pg? The stats show he's pretty good defensively, but I also think that's partly Skiles' system.
  18. http://i422.photobucket.com/albums/pp309/npascare2/Wilson_DP2.gif From last week, but easily the play of the year so far. Agreed with you guys on Hamilton....have hated him and his story since day 1. After deadspin leaked his little spring training night out last year, a commenter basically summed up the situation perfectly imo..."Throw the bum outta the league!!!" /casualfan.jpg if Hambone wasn't a good ole southern boy.
  19. http://i422.photobucket.com/albums/pp309/npascare2/datalaughing.gif I agree with you that the lineup's so far have been less than ideal, but yours is very bizarre. Once Hart is healthy, our lineup basically writes itself. Whether or not Roenicke will get it right is def up for debate.
