  1. The Rolling Stones - Midnight Rambler
  2. That was great. I had never even heard of the movie, so the twist was really unexpected for me. Yep. I hate that commercial. I also hate the GE assembly line dancing commerical. So bad.
  3. Damn TLB. You're only about 15 miles north of me and we didn't get nearly that much.
  4. Skinless chicken breasts on a foreman grill are easy. I have that for dinner a couple nights a week. At my local pick n save, they have a pack of six individually wrapped organic breasts for 9.99. Throw a little hot sauce on the side for dipping and it's a healthy meal that takes 5 minutes to cook. I usually side that with brown rice and a blended smoothie consisting of spinach, banana, 1 orange, 1 apple, slice of ginger, and any other veggies laying around. As for whey protein shakes (soy based), I've been trying to ween myself off them. I don't like what I've read about soy. Alternatives I've used are organic hemp protein (mixed with my fruit and veggie smoothie) and the last three weeks I've been drinking a blended mixture of a plain greek yogurt, skim milk, ovaltine mix, ice and a banana for my recovery shake. Tastes great, and it's a staple among marathon runners.
  5. I just hope we can get 2 good years out of him and then just let him walk. His mechanics are terrible.
  6. http://media.jsonline.com/images/650*455/ap-royals-brewers-spring-baseballb.jpg You mean to say hitting homeruns on eye level pitches isn't sustainable? .255/.305/.380 woud be my guestimate.
  7. The man was a legend. Music and Me was prob my favorite rap album when I was a freshman in high school.
  8. Yep, I've been reading that thread on realgm and its just appalling that a few fans are still defending him. Note: this was not just a simple misspeak. Hammond actually went in depth about Ramon being a UFA. The guy is either way in over his head (he is) or is just a flat out liar. I'm done with the Bucks until they fire his ass.
  9. And who's fault is that? Unfortunately for Hammond, he doesn't have the excuse of Larry Harris anymore. Let's be honest here, the cupboard is a lot more bare now from when Hammond took over in 2008. And if Salmons doesn't play like Dwayne Wade for the last 30 games of the year last year, odds are Mr. Hammond would be out of a job this spring.
  10. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/jdl22/troyrainbow1.gif So awesome.
  11. Next week's episode is titled "Todd Packer". I'm expecting big things.
  12. This was the best episode in years imo. I'd guess it was written by BJ Novak.
  13. Well done! That's kinda what I was going for.
  14. Good for Rickie. There's no one who works harder. Stay healthy, my friend.
  15. If his price is already at Uggla's (which I don't think he deserves because of the severe injury risk), I'd advocate just letting him play out this year and see if he has a similar year to last year. If he does, I still don't think he gets that much more than what Uggla got. And Milwaukee would probably be his number 1 choice even if he was a FA.
  16. Bump. Good episode, but easily the weakest of the first 3. The town hall meeting fell completely flat. Andy continues to kill it this season. The faces he made at Eduardo when they were coming up with their vault ideas during the cold open were hilarious. Also, it's been criminal how little they're utilizing Adam Scott.
  17. Love how Community featured Fat Neil. They have a lot of great side characters. Good episode, but it's probably not even in my top 5 for the season. Off of the top of my head, I can say Conspiracy Theories, KFC rocket launcher episode, Secret Garden parody with the racist gardener, and Halloween zombie episode were all better. Show is just sooo good.
  18. Yup. There hasn't been a bad episode yet. It's easily the funniest animated show I've ever followed. The Office: Michael and Holly plot was okay. One thing...isn't The Office supposed to be funny? I don't think I laughed once last night.
  19. Jean Ralphio definitely hooked Tommy Timberlake up with that gig at Lady Footlocker. I also liked how Tom was seemingly chosen as referee just because he still had his foot locker uniform on. A lot of jokes flew over my head on Community tonite, even after the second viewing. I did like Duncan and Fat Neil's exchange.... "Thank you, Fat Neil." "Neil's fine." "Not from an actuarial standpoint."
  20. Cappy, I like you and all, but I have to admit that I don't think you're the Messiah like patrickgpe does. I think the saddest part of all of this is that the Brewers now have no soap opera stars on the roster. Who would've thunk he would be the last one remaining out of those 4? Best of luck, Chris! I'll be rooting for you when you're not playing the Crew.
  21. Nice. I've wanted this guy on the Crew for ages.
  22. Great win last night btw. We always seem to play best when it's the crew from last year just playing, and not Gooden and Maggette.
  23. I'd love to use the contract to pick up an impact player, but from everything I've read, they're intending to let him expire. If they didn't, they wouldn't be able to keep CDR or LRMaM, who are RFA. I thought this was a good trade when it went down, but so far it has been just the opposite. His offense has been way down, and he's playing the worst d of his career. Maggette is nearly a lock to be traded before the seasons over. Agreed. I like CDR's game, and hope his outside shooting hasn't been a mirage, as he's more of a slasher. I like Keyon, but he's been pretty bad. He's a good defender, but we need him to start shooting better. We'd have been better off just resigning Ridnour. That's quite the slap in the face to Ilyasova. He's everything Gooden is not. Smart, relentless motor, and underpaid. Gooden seems like a good dude, and I do like his effort more than I thought I would, but he's just not very good.
  24. We're approaching the New Year, which also means we're approaching how to salvage the Bucks' season. Last year we had expiring contracts to help bring guys on at the deadline. Salmons played out of his mind and it was a fun year. This year? Nothing. Hammond had the worst offseason imaginable. I'd like to see us turn it around, but I highly doubt it. Last year was the exception, and not the rule.
  25. Do we still sign Capuano for depth? Compete with Narveson for the fifth spot.
