    Weeks has turned on a few inside fastballs the past couple weeks. That's a good sign he's trusting his wrists.

    But the 1-2 pitch (which was called a ball) was perfect. Night in and night out, the umps are just terrible.

    Tonight's the big night. Who do you guys want with the 15th? My preference of guys who might be there are: 1) L Babbitt 2) P Patterson 3) X Henry 4) A Bradley 5) L Sanders 6) G Hayward A few rumors going around that Aminu from Wake might be in for a slide. One mock has him going to the Bucks. That would be great value, but I highly doubt it actually happens.

    I'd love to have Love, but no way to Al Jefferson. We need a 4 that can stretch the floor, and Jefferson definitely cannot do that. He's strictly a post player. FWIW, Love and Jennings are also best friends.

    Well, pick #18 is out. OKC just trumped our offer. The Bulls and Celtics (#17 & #19) are still out there though. Still a lot of options for Hammond. As for Maggette, he isn't a very good defender from what I've seen. But as others have said, defense is much more of a team concept as long as the player isn't limited athletically. I'd expect him to be an avg defender with us.

    I like the trades for the most part. And a big part of it is because this means Salmons is gone. He was good for us, but he was a selfish/me-first player on offense. It didn't seem bad because he shot at a good clip with us, but no way do I sign him for what he wants (4 years). At least with the trade, we were able to shed some deadweight. Like twirl mentioned, the bucks are trying to get the Heat's 18th overall pick, for basically ng'd contracts. If we can do that, draft well, and sign Mike Miler, I'll give Hambone an A+.

    That's what gets me. Why? He's been one of the worst defenders in the league, and his bat is average at best. I hate how Macha plays favorites. Weeks is probably the 3rd best option for us at 2b yet he's out there every day.

    LOL. Hanging curve on a tee on 0-2 and Weeks hits it 275. He's bad in nearly every facet. We know what we have in Rickie. Why not give Inglett a shot?

    We have a perfect guy for the 2 spot, but for some reason he's bats 8th. Weeks has only attempted 5 steals this year. It would be nice if we could get a guy that could take a few pitches when he's on.
