  1. I'm right there with ya. Especially the one where the yuppie uncorks the wine.
  2. Oh wow, what a meltdown by Arroyo. Hopefully Manny doesn't get any ideas.
  3. He has walked 4 times in the past 8 games, which is a good sign. Hopefully he keeps it up. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't given his track record. Do Rickie and Corey even have the green light this year? I thought I heard they are only running if they have a good time on the pitcher, which they might wanna reconsider, as Corey is only 2/5 as well. Probably just a bit of variance though, as those two have always been efficient base stealers. If he continues to hit the ball as hard as he has so far, he probably won't have a problem batting right around .300. It seems like he has been robbed about once a game lately.
  4. Not at the leadoff spot. That would be fine for a 6 hole hitter, but that's Willy Taveras bad.
  5. How is Michael Bourne hitting the ball hard all of a sudden? If we lose this game on a walk off walk to Michael friggin Tejada I'm gonna lose it.
  6. My god, I'm not defending that toss from Billy, but that was about as routine as a pick as you can get. J.R. Towles with a swing that would make Ben Sheets blush. And Villa gets behind 3 -1
  7. Cameron running down Bourne's liner in the 8th was pretty huge in hindsight.
  8. Yeah, those were good sbrylski. Michael's man crush on Ryan continues to produce some of the best lines. I also liked Andy telling Charles that since he hadn't been there as long, not as much should be expected. "No, I don't want to have said that.... But I think you should know." His delivery is always soooo good.
  9. Macha was talking about it in his pregame interview with Ueck. Said he doesn't want to tell Rickie to just take pitches for the sake of it, but also said he needs the top two to have OBP's in .340 to .360 range.
  10. Yes, I think people are well aware of that. For some people, it's just one of the quirky things that makes following baseball a lot of fun.
  11. When he first came on board, I liked the guy. Anything was better than Sutton imo. But he seems to progressively get worse with the things phxMILWfan mentioned, and basically resorts to all the old baseball cliches now days.
  12. That turned into a nice series. On to Houston, where we have finally face some easier pitching. P.S.: Can we leave Brian Anderson in Philly please? I don't mind he was talking about the no-hitter really, it's just that he's terrible.
  13. Yeah, of course I don't really believe in any stupid superstitions like that, but it's kind of fun to play along.
  14. And Brian Anderson really needs to shut his mouth. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. Bush has huge break on his curve today. Coste missed that pitch by a foot.
  16. Very nice Prince!! I'm just glad to see him not overswinging, and finally hitting the ball hard today.
  17. What a difference 3 days makes. Braun's line is now .431/.593!!
  18. Telly just seems so cartoonish, if that makes any sense.
  19. Man, Hamels just owns us. Reminds me of Game 1 last year.
  20. Long article, but a good read. Guy is soooo delusional. Also, Jim Cramer is having a rough couple of months I'd say.
