This series is squarely on the players. They can't hit the ball and it hasn't really mattered who it is. Almost 100 percent agree with this - the only disagreement was the decision to pull Peralta. Yelich is an amazing easy target but who put up good at bats? Wong has been really bad. Garcia has been terrible. Escobar has had some awful at bats. Tellez outside the home run has had some really bad at bats. Taylor had one of the worst pinch hit at bats I have seen. Peterson has been good and I think Adames has been decent. It seems like Urias and Cain are making good contact. Am I missing someone?

Only issue I have with the lineup is Urias is too low. Outside of that I like it. The Yelich hate is over the top. He has probably been on base more than any other brewer this series - not saying it has been impressive, but I can list off numerous starters who have been less productive so far

Yelich hasnt been good at the plate but has any player been on base more so far this series? Yelich has been on 3 times. Adames has been on 3 times as well. Lots to be underwhelmed by so far

The braves starting pitchers have done a terrific job locating pitches so far. They have been painting corners and keeping runners guessing

Rasmussen has been really good lately. He was the guy I didnt want to lose. JP hasnt been very good since coming back from injury.

I dont see him being traded for a couple reasons. 1. They are a world series contender right now. 2. We have a lot of key pieces locked in for the rest of his deal. We dont need to add much to stay a great team. 3. He is the kind of guy who could still net a haul at the trade deadline if the team regresses -

Burnes and I dont think it is really all that close. Burnes is younger and better. That is to take nothing from Woodruff but Burnes' last two seasons have been about as good as it gets (albeit one season was shortened)
