  1. Almost nobody is selling out right now. This! Milwaukee is 10th in attendance I do believe. Pretty damn good given population. And that is with a city and it's fanbase being preoccupied by an NBA championship run for much of the summer. I walk around Milwaukee with Brewers stuff all the time and so many fans talk me about the Brewers. The city is into the team but there are reasons why sell outs may not be happening
  2. To be clear I would have loved it without my son watching. It is sports. Have fun with it. If you can't enjoy a no hitter I am not sure what to say. But to each his own I guess
  3. I cannot believe people here saying they didn't enjoy it. My son and I had a blast watching it together. Cool memory. Burnes seemed to completely understand not being able to finish it. Weird some fans dont
  4. Of our top 5 starters Houser has the worst ERA at 3.25. Just insane. Chacin had a 3.5 era and was our ace
  5. Seriously with some of the strikes called against us how is that pitch to Harper a ball?
  6. Serious question. What do Lauer and Houser lack to be number 2 type starters going forward? Is the strikeout numbers? Are their secondary pitches not good enough? I dont follow advanced stats enough to know.
  7. I was on a plane for Game 7 of the NLCS a few years back. Paid for the internet access so i could be depressed on the flight
  8. The Reds suck. They can't even beat AAA teams now. The Reds never were that great. Overrated starting pitching and a leaky bullpen. Bats have cooled down this they have cooled down. They still have a shot at the wc but they are not as good as a couple of the teams in the race
  9. The Brewers have definitely battled today. Time for a hitter to come through
  10. Can't hit it much harder. Would have likely scored three if it got by Goldschmidt. Tough way to end that inning. Yeah that definitely scores 3 with Cain on first. Tellez's at bat before that was the real killer. If they score to make it 5-2 is Goldschmidt playing that deep with 1 out? Maybe but they could be playing closer for the double play
  11. I would say wait a year for a couple reasons 1. As noted above the track record for a bigger return just isn't there 2. Also noted above the price increase isnt huge year 1 of arby. How much of a difference is it from what we will inevitably pay a veteran like Anderson to give us depth? 3. Ashby will likely have an innings limit next year so he is probably better as a 6th starter 4. If we wait a year they will still have value - maybe more if they take a next step - and we will see what steps small makes and we will see what we have with younger offensive guys like tellez, urias, Taylor, Mitchell, etc. We will have a clearer picture what we need to trade for.
  12. Tyler Mahle is at 106 pitches through 5 for the Reds tonight. Hauser at 81 through 7. What an incredible and efficient start so far
