  1. If I remember correctly, his only other offers from "top" programs were like Baylor and Memphis or something. I'm not sure where the 3 stars comes from. Is his defense poor? I suppose everyone's been paying attention to his flashy scoring ability, I'm not really sure how good his defense is.
  2. Last year the ex-Brewer t-shirt jerseys were all $5 dollars, so I doubt any were only $2. Not sure if there were any $10 ones though.
  3. Unfortunately I've never seen the Brewers play at Wrigley. However, I was at a game about 5 or 6 years ago where the Braves hit 8 home runs against the Cubs. Aramis Ramirez had a pop-up hit him square in the face as well.
  4. I've lived in Wisconsin my entire life (23) and have never been to Lambeau. Even for a preseason game. Probably my most depressing "Believe it or not, I've never..." On the flip side I've been to about 6-8 games at Wrigley, and I've never seen the Cubs win there.
  5. Cirillo was always my favorite player growing up because I played 3B in Little League and he seemed like such a cool dude. I don't think I ever realized he put up that great of a season. 6.8 WAR could definitely at least contend for MVP in certain years.
  6. It's definitely impressive how much he improved over the offseason, but he was WAY too amped up in the first half. His shot selection was pretty poor for a while, though it's easy to see his potential with some of the athletic moves/shots he was creating.
  7. Are you kidding me? I knew he was in Chicago in January but it sold out a while ago, no idea he was in Madison tonight. Oh well.
  8. I haven't seen either of their first two games, but it sounds like Brust is off to a hot start. Does anyone know if there's a chance he'll eventually be a starter (over maybe Evans)? He played more minutes yesterday than anyone but Taylor or Bruiser. Side note, but when did KenPom become a pay site? Sort of expected I guess, but it still sucks.
  9. I wonder how this will change NL teams' strategy in terms of player personnel. Suddenly, a player like Prince Fielder makes more sense for a NL team. As he ages he'll be less desireable at 1B but at least he can DH for the interleague games, etc. Maybe it won't make a huge difference, maybe it will. This is a really huge and important point I hadn't even thought about yet. It's definitely an interesting point, but is it that huge? All that means is he'd DH 15 games a year instead of 7-9. I'm not sure if that's a big enough difference for NL teams to change their personnel decisions.
  10. One load of whites, one load of colors, one load of bed sheets, one load of towels, $1 for the washing machine, $1 for the dryer = $16.I think you're overestimating how often college students to laundry. Especially towels and bed sheets. I was proud if I washed my sheets more than once a semester.
  11. Attempting to lure out the zombie from the farm's well might've been the dumbest thing that anyone has done on this show. And that includes Merle refusing to put aside his racism in a post-apocolyptic world infested with zombies. Every scene with that guy from season 1 was cringe worthy, and there are still plenty of those moments without him. Are we supposed to care if Sophia is found or not? They've now dragged this on throughout four episodes, and it's a character who had a small handful of lines throughout the first 7 episodes of the season. Just really frustrating pacing.
  12. For the love of god Neftali throw a strike.
  13. Crazy to think, but he'll by 30 next year so I don't think he has any potential left. I'd hope to god they'd explore trading him before Corey. I've got to ask, but why the strong dislike for Rickie Weeks? I'm not trying to call you out or anything, but I've literally never seen one positive post from you about him, and most are negative. I don't really get it.
  14. A week ago I thought it would've been soul crushing had the Cards knocked out the Brewers, but it hasn't been nearly that bad. Probably cause I know the Brewers just didn't play well enough.
  15. Kind of dumb for Miller Park to play "Take Me Out" when the pitcher leaving the game pitched pretty well.
  16. It's hard to blame a part of the offense when they have 6 runs in 5 innings.
  17. Seriously man, do you just have those lined up for every potential situation? They all fit so well.
  18. If it was late May RR would've waited until the 8th inning to use Loe.
