  1. "Then Mother Nature takes over and says I'm gonna rain on you for a little bit...but hang in there...I'll....I'm coming back for the Yankees." What?
  2. I'd just rather not stay up past midnight for the third straight night obsessively following the Diamondbacks game on gameday.

  4. 99.9% doesn't do it justice. That's literally like one in a million at best, right?
  5. Longest in play run(s) ever. Please tell me there was an out at the plate and that's why it's taking forever to compute and they actually just lost.
  6. I knew what game you were talking about without even clicking on the link, unfortunately. I was really thinking that was in '07 for some reason. Airshuttle, I think Roenicke said Greinke would only pitch a couple innings if they'd already clinched home field.
  7. I'd much rather face the Braves too. I also thought woogie's "See you Saturday in Milwaukee!" or whatever he said was directed toward us, not the Diamondbacks. Not really sure though.
  8. 6-1!! How awesome is it that it will take 161 games before a Brewers game becomes utterly meaningless. Usually that only takes about 140 or so.
  9. The Pirates had the leadoff batter on in the first six innings yesterday, and already in the first three today. I don't know what's normal, but 9/12 seems like a ton.
  10. 5-0 Astros. TLR's love of the intentional walk sure biting him in the behind right now. This Presley guy is really annoying.
  11. I really wish BA would stop talking about how well McGehee did last year. It's fine at the beginning of the season, but at this point it's literally a full year ago. I also really wish Rickie wouldn't strand so many baserunners.
  12. For the record, if the Dodgers win one more game they'll officially be a "winning team." I know one or two games over .500 isn't what people imply when they use that term, but it's not like we're talking about a player on the Astros or Twins or something.
  13. My feelings on the wave should be reserved for a post in the Cussin' Corner or whatever the thread is called in the Political Forum.
  14. I'd think, or at least hope, about 99% of posters here would agree with this. I mean it's not like the Packers where the team's set up to be great for multiple years. It's entirely possible the Brewers will be quite bad in 2013.

  16. I'd rather root for the team that has 18,000 apathetic fans at their games than a team with 40,000 obnoxious ones.
  17. That was a twenty minute inning before the Pirates even scored. How often does that happen.
  18. The Brewers already beat up on Minor this year.
  19. Wish in one hand... From that same article: "Playoffs are a different animal," Roenicke said. "[McGehee], he's not going to freak out because it's the playoffs, and that means a lot to me [in terms of] what I think a guy is going to do in the playoffs. We all know his high end." Maybe I'm misinterpreting this, but this seems like a roundabout way of saying that McGehee is a veteran and not all the other options (ie Green) are. Fine if Roenicke feels that way, but McGehee has 0 postseason at bats. What makes him so sure he's "not going to freak out because it's the playoffs"? His terrible slump in what's been an otherwise bad year? His timidness at the plate?
  20. I really hope the Brewers don't get Dick Stockton. Otherwise, we'll get to hear about all the errAHs committed by the Brewers infield.
