  1. It depends, if McGehee was the first PH option off the bench again I'd rather let Greinke stay in. I assume it would've been Kotsay though.
  2. Sometimes I'm just afraid they rely too much on the home run ball.
  3. If Hawkins comes in I want a quick pitch every single time.
  4. Loe would've been brought in with two outs, so they didn't need a double play there. I also never want to see him face a lefty again in a meaningful game.
  5. Cardinals in 7. Carpenter throws a gem at Miller Park to rip out every Brewer fan's heart.
  6. A) Using McGehee as a pinch hitter with all four lefties available still. B) Bunting with Weeks, who is never really asked to, plus if it was successful they would've walked Hairston to get to Betancourt with the bases loaded. I'll at least look past the second part I guess since Betancourt looked better than Weeks at the plate in the series. C) I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned anywhere, but Kameron Loe was warming up in the bullpen when Gallardo was struggling a bit to get out of the 6th. Not only is he at best the 3rd best option there (Saito and Hawkins, plus I'd rather see Greinke than Loe there), but there was a lefty on deck for Arizona. I guess there's no telling if he would've brought him in or not, but the fact that it got that close is maddening. I liked some stuff that he did throughout the series as well, but I still don't totally trust him to not cost the Brewers a game in the NLCS.
  7. My little league team when I was 13 was the Cardinals.
  8. That's the rational way of looking at it. The irrational way is that losing to them would make me want to throw something very valuable into the wall, whereas losing to the Phillies would hurt but not be the end of the world.
  9. So, uh...Go Cards?
  10. Chances we see Greinke in the 10th should it get there? Seeing as Loe was warming up in the 6th I don't feel too good about it.

  12. I paused the 8th for about 10 minutes there and zipped though it after waiting. 10 minutes still wasn't really enough.

  14. If there's no one to hold on that's such an easy out. Looks like he still should've had it to. Gotta love our infield. GET AXFORD UP.

  16. and another lefty in Green Hell, Kottaras too. McGehee's literally the worst option of the bench there.

  18. So I guess Ron's that confident in his pen that he used Casey...?

  20. Based on this series you'd think Bloomquist is the best utility player in the history of baseball. If K-Rod could channel his 2002 self that would be fantastic.
