  1. I think this calls for a secret investigation, just after I notify the media. Oh, wait.
  2. At the West Towne Penney's in Madison tonight, they had a Hardy shirsey at regular price. Seriously.
  3. Yes, and one of the fans they spoke to was Brewerfan's own zachlaka: http://www.todaystmj4.com/multimedia/videos/?bctid=1469817469001
  4. I agree with TLB - at least it's worth a try, Kalle. Use that email I sent you for our ticket rep.
  5. That corner of the club level tends to be one of the last parts of the park to fill. The club level family sections are over there (or are possibly the sections being used for the peanut free zone) and on the few occasions we've sat there we've had lots of space.
  6. This makes me almost wish Ryan were driving to Maryvale in a white Bronco.
  7. Drama/viewers/ratings is all I've got for a reason/motive.
  8. Well, he possibly already knows the outcome, but has been "warned" by MLB not to say anything and this is his way of looking "smart" when the announce is made. Either that or ESPN wants to make an exoneration look even more dramatic. Not that I'm much into interpreting spin, but I did have that thought upon reading that tweet. At least the uncertainty should be reduced soon. That'll be good either way.
  9. Interesting. So what does that mean for dates when Brewers and Bucks collide?
  10. If you hadn't included "to get hammered," we'd have had to say something like, "What happened to you, Bikeage77? You used to be cool." I know that zachlaka was at MP last night, mad that an employee asked him to leave. I don't know that he's switched over here yet, so he may not post here.
  11. I thought it was 4 divisions. I think only football has seven.
  12. I'm not specifically looking to reignite the custard wars, but if you get frozen custard (which is like ice cream with a higher fat content) at Gilles, especially at midday on a weekday, you stand at least a chance of seeing Bud Selig. He often takes lunch there. Look for a black Lexus parked on the west side of the building.
  13. Our next door neighbor - the one with the snow blower - is in Florida this week. He and the S.O. pondered whether we should take over the blower this week, just in case. They looked at the 7-day forecast last weekend and decided not to. Swell!
  14. Sweet merciful crap. The Zim Bear. On the possible up side, the Rays are also having a DJ Kitty bobblehead giveaway on August 5. That would be sweet.
  15. No, not good news. I grew up in Mayville....nothing good there. I was going to say, wouldn't it be sweet if it were 80 degrees with spring training going on in Mayville, Wisconsin?
  16. Let's use this thread to continue discussion about Ryan Braun's early-2012 status.
  17. I put refuse in garbage cans at the ballpark too, and the S.O. thinks it's weird. So I suspect you and I are both in the minority, bork. Also - the Fox 6 link above indicates that the Brewers are scheduling these games to accommodate mild nut allergies, and fans who sit in the peanut free sections will have to sign a waiver.
  18. I'll admit that it never occurred to me that nut-allergic people would be challenged at the ballpark - but clearly they would. /knocking on wood for my good fortune to date at not having a food allergy/ I'd be interested to know what the Brewers plan to do to keep that area nut-free. The far corner of the club section should be relatively easy to monitor for carry-ins, but can they make sure some yahoos in the terrace don't throw shells on the people in the front rows? Will it be HEPA vacuumed before the game? Do the Brewers cross their fingers that it's not windy with the roof open that game?
  19. It's more like asking the concessions staff for "popcorns" instead of "popcorn." But welcome to this year's ASU bloggers!
  20. For an obstruction in 329, I'd guess either a railing or a camera bay. Maybe others who are in the club more often can speak more knowledgeably.
  21. Even though the Fielder-as-Brewer era is over, I look forward to seeing video of the finished product. Thanks for sharing, SoundsFan17!
  22. Untuck your shirt today as a tribute. Thanks for playing, Mike.
  23. Same thing happened to me on Sunday. I tried to use my phone to follow a link to a private message and was led to something with 'raunchy girlfriend' in the title before I closed the browser in moderate horror. I then switched to a desktop computer and the link connected me to the PM as expected. So count me among those hoping this is resolved. Yikes.
  24. A lot of times where we are, FS-Wisconsin picks up the Wmlw broadcasts anyway. I think the key is whether Charter realizes that an HD broadcast is available to pick up. I'll go knock on wood now.
